Shaper still requires 1 of each Guardian fragment.

Going to dump all my currency and go out with a bang before this dead league is nailed in for good. Never done HowA before. Just a question about it, is point blank worth it? It seems to be 50/50 on people taking it (lvl 100s) I'm leaning towards no since the range where damage starts to drop off is incredibly short and IIRC projectile speed doesn't change this. Especially with spectral throw's " It is important to note that damage scaling is done with respect to the total distance the projectile has traveled, not its current distance from the point of origin.[3] If the projectile changes direction—as is the case with Spectral Throw—distance traveled continues to increase as the projectile returns to its point of origin."

Also, is Black Sun Crest not worth it? Don't think I see anybody using it.

Do I still Shatter if I crit with pure cold damage and elemental focus? Probably not, but it doesn't make much sense though when you're hitting a white mob with 1mil. cold damage.

It's dumb as in, everyone is going cap the resists, and mob damage is balanced around _that_, which is why it's dumb. For most builds is easy enough to cap resists, and the stat itself at that point will serve no purpose, unless you go above the 75% cap.

conclusion: there is no need to cap resist anymore. White / blue / rare are dead before they can attack, Bosses always one shot you if you're dumb enough to get hit,whatever your resist / armor / life pool. Manual dodge all the way.

This keystone will no longer affect Energy Shield in any way. It will only apply to Life Leeched. Bot "attack builds". ES is still fine for bows, wanders, etc. It's melee that now works like absolute trash with ES, which basically is just a nerf to all ranger/shadow melee builds. If you think about it all your buffs fall away when it comes to single target. the onslaught might be there but might not and could fall. the More damage will fall.over kill leech can fall. leaving you with the only good thing for single target being 20% cull, quite good tho

In map you could tp out have flask problem otherwise the reason why the stun immune isn't that great is because when you need it most it fails you.
you enter a boss fight and you over leech ends. Now you are down to just basic leech keeping your bleed immunity and stun immunity up. Either the boss moves or you move and you are not longer leeching from the boss. You loose you leech effect. you die.

For any decent life build stun immunity is something you get if you can as being quite close by and along your pathing.

Lab besides just managing your flasks like normal should be fine until you run out in the boss fight. lets be honest bleed+onslaught is 1 flask which would end up being replaced by writhing.
remember you are not rare reflect immune. I've not tested with taste of hate but with coil+ around 5 end charges phys ref is still an issue.

Now as a two hand user you can only either run around or leap slam. Sure there is blink arrow but the cool down doesn't add much weight.
So this is a direct effect on your clear speed which limits any build you do with a 2h.

Lets looks at trickster, pathfinder, raider, champion, berserker, juggernaut, inquisitor even necromancer. All of these classes have things increasing your attack speed and/or move speed. You see what this means? Each of this classes will clear faster then slayer as they all have the option of a onslaught flask and/or quicksilver on top of it. They will all out perform slayer.
By slayer taking onslaught, an extremely easy to acquire buff, then even still having it on a count down held back by its own limitations of it being onslaught and not another stack able buff that you could put onslaught on top of. hamstrings the ascendancy.

Another part of it is that all the duration based buffs slayer receives are effected by how fast you can clear through content and eventually into the boss area.

your argument of muh flasks is quite the same as you rely worms to get you through everything which is basically of a bleed onslaught flask that you can maintain as per normal flask handling. But now suffer restrictions on every single buff related to slayer.
I mean the onslaught that you gave up so much for, basically denying yourself better classes with onslaught tapped on when ever you wanted, could drop in the limited time you have to move from mobs to boss room with no way of recovering it. not even a tp will solve that.
That's all only considering one scenario. Of all the ascen you amed, only zerker and pathfinder is really better than slayer. You can't simply judge by MS alone. Take Necro as an example; since the AI is retard, zom/spec or whatever you run will clear infinitely slower than Slayer. Same with Champion, he got nothing to help with clear speed.

Slayer sacrificed nothing for Onslaught. It's a buff tacked on to culling, not the other way around. You won't have it up on every boss, but just by taking the node, you decrease boss hp by 20% for free.

And about lab, Slayer has no problem with lab. He culled Izaro in 3rd phase in seconds and walk over traps. Thas alone make Slayer better than all other Ascend at uber lab.

Strongbox and Breach are no where near consistent as uberlab to be used as measurement

Slayer took onslaught which is easily available from about 3-4 different sources as his main buff for clear speed. any other class can have onslaught and still their addition buffs with it.
The culling is good, its the best thing if not the only good thing as I have said several times.
I've already said the 3rd lab fight is really easy and nice due to the cull and generally managing your pots as you do in lab it should go fine. though any other class would have onslaught.
any of the possibilities should be thought of. all the unique maps. some that are just boss fights or boss fight focused.

I think you are misunderstanding my point. It's not just only about 3rd phase Izaro. When you took the cull node, you reduce mob hp by 20%, across the map. It is really a significant increase in clear speed that is not expressed in term of damage or attack speed. Again, take Atziri, you culled every boss, Atziri and her cloned multiple times. The tooltips dps isn't that impressive but when you run the map you can feel the difference.

You mention other class has their onslaught pot while Slayer's is time based. But Slayer can free up multiple flask slot and he can put whatever he want in there. He can have Dying Sun/ Taste of Hate/ Sin's rebirth or any of those up while other class use Onslaught, and then gain Onslaught during boss fight by killing a rare spawn

Then everyone realized grabbing accuracy nodes is pure, undiluted, total and utter fucking cancerous niggerdick and started using it. GGG, being lovers of utterly fucking retarded niggerdick, decide once again to fix what IS broken but actually do nothing in the process somehow. Truly a magical company.

Honestly the problem lies in the fact that crit will either be too good and warrant taking accuracy nodes and getting accuracy on gear or crit will be not good enough and warrant getting RT on everything. Which is fine I guess. It IS a choice you actually have to think about, right?

Then you realize spells deal more or less the same damage, can also crit, and require none, zero, absolutely null investment into an arbitrary chance to hit. Then it all goes out the fucking window because why bother with skills that already struggle to compete with spells when I could slot frostbolt, fullscreen clear as a basic property on the gem, and use the points I saved not investing in a mandatory don't miss stat on either more damage or more survivability. I really just don't fucking get it.

The flaw here is two-fold:

It'd actually be faster to make a new game engine and fix everything from the ground-up than to try and fix PoE's extreme volume of issues.

This issue stems from the fact that "You can build anything on any character" is one of GGG's initial design philosophies.
Over the years, they've homogenized the tree to an extreme degree. Then they threw this concept out the window with Ascendancies, since you definitely can't make a Juggernaut Witch. Sure, you can make a melee Necromancer build in a similar vein to many Juggernauts, but the choices available to you are fundamentally different and you'd be way better off making that Necro a caster instead. They've done nothing but contradict themselves at a fundamental level again and again.

You can make any character do anything, but the community is so obsessed with min-maxing that unoptimal builds are ignored.

Accuracy affecting shit like Ive crash and EQ makes no fucking sense.
