The only red sword I even use anymore is Xander, and that's only because I haven't gotten a good Cecilla to work with yet.

Infantry red swords are never going to be relevant ever again. Even Ryoma is barely worth a mention at this point, and that's with his amazing stat spread and DC from his weapon.

Red is dead. The sooner you abandon the color, the better. There are maybe 3 relevant greens left that you can't tear apart with blue mages at this point (Julia, Cecilla, maybe Minerva), and you can get away without a red mage to shoot back against those if you have a good enough green with GTomebreaker. Even Hector can be dispatched easily via Reinhardt if you have cavalry buffs to back him up.

The only thing red has over the other colors is Celica.

I like both to a point, but Kozaki feels less consistant with his work and less fitting of an artist for a series like FE. He's also hard to deal with and just generally seems to lose interest easily, lazy guy in general it feels. Kozaki is a good artist. I blame IS for the stupid looking armour in Fates/Awakening. He also had to design a lot more than Hidari did. IMO, Hidari has some bad designs in Echoes too (Gray, Boey, Redoot, Nudolf, etc).

The only real problem I have with Hidari's art is that some of his designs look too flat or the character design for them are just way too bland and boring. There are some exceptions, but Echoes has one of the most unappealing looking casts in the series.
