Don't remember any major bugs in the first game. Going Commando has those nasty crashes when you travel to other places via different devices than your main ship like Giant Clank, but starting the game again puts you on your desired destination. It's only problematic in pic related where it marks the mission you did on the moon as completed but not the traveling to the moon mission, so you won't get a certain item.
In Up Your Arsenal there's a bug where you can't trigger a certain skill point so you might not get the respective trophy and you can't unlock all bonus features in the game. Can't remember right now if there are more bugs.
Overall it's not completely unplayable but the bugs can be annoying.

You've played already Tales of Hearts R? If not, that's in sale too. Trails of Cold Steel are also on sale, those are pretty good Falcom games if you can manage turn based.

People who play SAO games, really like them as well. I don't think they're bad games if you get into them, though Lost Song wasn't that hot as a game. No idea about performance, though that said it's pretty obvious that PS4 runs the games better. But hopefully someone who actually has played them replies, I know we have people her who have played them.

No, it does have a story mode even though the last bit is very, very repetitive. It's worth for the cheap price they're usually asking for it in sales. It does however have a few censored cards. Doesn't affect gameplay, but still sucks.

Ah well, it's the old bug with disconnect being interpretted as Kick from host.

Anyway, I found out some useful things this session.
Sinner's Thorn works incredibly well with Barrier Chain.
Sinner Thorn can also outright kill critters, even the flying ones that are otherwise hard to catch with melee weapons.

And Once you Sinner Thorn the Archfiend, you can barrier Chain him while he's down for the count.

And Vaccum spell also works well for barrier Chain when there are multiple Archfiends you want to trap in a barrier.

It's pretty boiler plate for the fist part of the game but as you unlock more and more advance classes you need to mix it up and utilize their skills to get by. Granted there are some classes that have too many useless I still felt like there was a good variety.

The game naturally drives you through each dungeon tough? you don't have to run around them like a retard farming levels over and over again to beat every boss. You don't have to redo them to beat the next one. It takes around the time needed to discover the map and that's it. Most small mobs encounter end with one AoE spell or splash attack.

It does, yeah. It's a good deal. It has some issues with framerate, but having played a lot of it, only things like Atomic Bazooka spam/full screen flash moves/weapobs make the game hit unplayable. Outside of Tartarus you don't have a figure of the MCs to move around you just have a cursor to move and click on shops and stuff, looks a bit more VNish that way. The dlc costumes are amazon but no practical use.

The exp+ and item drop+ helps in post game. Think of it as something like 20% bonus.

Then it's really up to you. I would change just for the costumes, although some don't care about it at all (it's not free too).

Changing psn also forces you to use a new memory card or to format the current one since one card supports only one psn account at a time. This can be troublesome if you need to back up existing data to PC.

It also disrupts your icons and settings, though those are easy to fix.

It has some bizarre, completely unintuitive design decisions on the dungeon crawling side in naked P4, and they just added more with Golden. It's still fairly entertaining for a fair amount of time I guess.
