Hmmmmm....I got a story idea from Kim's posts last night. At least it's better than writer's block. I can't write any more of the Castle story! What if a character hearing voices wasn't due to him being off meds, but instead his conscience manifesting? He'd have a literal angel and devil on his left and right that are in a constant tug of war over him and his dick. Here's the WIP angel. I need to get her a halo and some wings. At least there are devil horns ingame already. Getting the tail is another story. God I hate tumblr. Hopefully the youtube links embed properly. It's been a while since I did this. Not a big wrasslin fan, but that was the first thing I thought of.

My biggest regret so far is that I couldn't get Chloe to look more like Uehara Ai. She's the only person I'd ever model a literal succubus after. I was so much better at reproducing real people in sims 3 than I am in sims 4.

Forgot I intended to introduce the story by having Brandon on the couch with a psychiatrist. I'll find an excuse to pack him off to one at some point. Involuntary confinement after another incident? Probable. Maybe I can tie the Castle story arc into this. The stories take place in the same universe and I have a plot for Jack outlined. Then writer's block hit until Kim's posts last night jolted me out of it.

The sims in Medieval are objectively the best looking sims in the series to date, however nearly everything else about that game was fucking awful

That said, the art style of TS4 can be considered "better" because it does fit in a bit better with the atmosphere of the series (rather than attempting realism), it's easier to run on potatoes, and it's easier for modders to make Maxis-match content (the only content worth getting IMO)

However it's definitely the worst for the time period it was released in. I would've been fine with the "No open world" and "No create-a-style" if they'd done something like "open neighborhoods" (like 5 lots at a time being loaded) and a simple colour wheel (even fucking Tekken can manage that why can't the sims) since the Open World and CAST were part of the reason TS3 ran so fucking abhorrently

Also would've been nice if the apartments had been handled better - and included fucking roommates. TS2 Apartment Life was great, they should've just copied that.

I wonder why the Sims 3 alpha hair strikes me as being better overall than 4's. There's more variety and for some reason it just seems to fit the head better generally. Maybe that's because the models are so much more stylized. Sigh. I keep feeling vague urges to poke at 3 again but then I remember my lag issues and never end up doing it.

Mike's really lazy in a lot of his I've been noticing lately. Like he just stops at the business areas and the other parts of the body look unanimated.
While Dagger's are really fluid and mobile across the body, but some are horrifically over-exaggerated movements that almost make me wince in pain to watch. And I think one of them just has the arms rigid in the air.
It'd be better if they slowed down and did a progression set.

Because you see that every now and then, and that's a problem with the whole simulation rather than just autonomy.
In the latter time will continue to progress but then it'll suddenly catch up and snap back to where it's supposed to be on the clock.

I've been using tumblr for years now and the blacklist with xKit is terrible and doesn't always work. That being said there's more than one blacklist plugin out there. No fucking excuse at all. There's also the tried and true method of scrolling down.

You'll be amazed though how far a cheap upgrade can go in TS4. I went from Nvida from 2006 to a AMD from 2011 and it was a huge jump, TS4 wise.

Currently Im rocking a 960, a gen or two behind, and I run everything on max with 60fps. But you honestly dont even need to be as forward as my card to get that.

Hear me out:
Sims 4 (with 2 very close behind) is the best engine for a sims game but sims 3 is the best game in terms of content (again with 2 close behind).

Sims 2 is too antiquated now for most people but prior to s4, s2 was the best engine, it's hard to explain because I'm too baked but if you've played them you'll understand.

s4 is just poorly executed imo, the spam of stuff packs and game packs are lazy and half-done. If they'd actually take time to make good content, s4 would easily beat every other one. However we get stupid shit like 1 venue, 4 outfits and a table set every month. The engine itself has some really solid mechanics that mods showcase (instead of the game itself) due to the above issue.

Tl;dr s4 is like s2 so it's good but ea is shit

That's very true. I think it's more that 3 had a lot more 'fluff' content in terms of furniture, housing, the open world and ect. I don't actually miss the open world that much but I do think a nice change would be loading all of the houses in a 'minihood' so you can walk between the three-to-five-ish houses in a segment. Hell, a loading screen that shows your Sim driving in a car/riding a bike/walking would be nice.

One of my gripes is that, I believe WW should have a rape function, where the user can select the animations he has available and tag them as rape animations. Like now we have rape animations but it requires you to either switch to always accept setting beforehand or to rape someone who wants to be raped.
I believe there should just be a seperate Always Accept function for tagged rape animations and possibly add some optional effects to it.
Not hard to do in my opinion, you could also skip the user selecting animations and just tell the modders that in the next update they need to put in an extra tag for that shit.
