Just started watching netflix's Castlevania show.

It's actually really good. Animation can be stiff at times but they got the character design right.

Konami has really dropped the ball this gen. A new 2D castlevania shouldn't cost too much to make.

PSN ratings are pretty meaningless since I don't think anyone specifically goes back and gives an accurate rating there after they've played a game.

Regardless, if you want more of Valkyria Chronicles, then Revolution would absolutely disappoint you. It's a pretty significant change in tone, presentation and gameplay.

Purely in its own right, Revolution is an okayish action JRPG with a neat setting (a small country in Europe fighting a war against a much larger empire). I'm enjoying it but I would struggle to recommend it. The gameplay outside of one or two specific boss fights so far has been nothing to write home about. I do like the characters though.

If you want more of Chronicles, it is not that.
If you've never played Valkyria before, I would absolutely recommend you play Chronicles rather than Revolution, as Chronicles is an amazing game.
If you like action JRPGs you might be able to get into it.

I reluctantly got horizon zero dawn the other day because of the review scores and the graphics. I started out thinking it was lame but 15 hours in I am having a blast. Once they unleash you into the full game world it is fucking great. I just bolted my underleveled ass to all the tall walkers, often getting knocked off my mount and surviving by my wits and the skin of my teeth to complete the end-game cauldron ruins nearby, which allows me to control enormous end-game robot dinos (if I sneak up on them.)

I could really use a gold grinding method on Nioh. I'm currently at the 4th region (Tokai) at lv 82. So far from what I have seen, Request from Ginchiyo is the fastest way to grind gold (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qP6BOwoALNg) but that only grants 12k per run and I need around 400k for each piece of the set I want to Soul Match, so that will take quite a while

Are there any better places to grind or do I have to just brace it and go for it?

What set are you trying to stick with? I'm sure it'd probably be faster to just farm another version of that set with better stats in Way of the Strong or in a later area, if Nioh has a general still you can probably ask someone to wear a good version of that set and die in a place where you can easily challenge their Revenant. If you just like how it looks, remember that you can always copy item appearances to other pieces of gear.

Being set in Japan based on two real life cities, having a story based around Yakuza and having a lot of the minigames based on Japanese culture, such as mahjong, cee-lo and shit, and a handful of old 80s Sega arcade games and some other shit, it's definitely full of Japanese culture if that's what you're looking for. They even have those fags that hand out tissues. It's set during the Bubble era too and it shows. I think it's pretty unique in both setting and feel.

Most games are 20-30h long (just for the main story). There's 2 movies and 4 games in that collection IIRC. So you'd get over 100h out of them all and that's not counting doing optional stuff. I dunno which one, I haven't played FFXII myself and I'm still contemplating if I should get it. Did play all the KH games and they're good, I liked them. Maybe get FFXII? KH has been out for a few months now so it's possible that it might get a discount soon, if not on PSN then on amazon or whatever.
