Do the 40AP daily QP mission once every day. That's a bit over 1mil QP, plus the four prisms. Those add up, and if you run into the point where you need to dump 100mil+ QP into something, then grinding for a few days sure isn't going to help.

As for ascension vs. mana prisms, I'd assume you want ascension material for future ascensions. You'll likely have other characters you want to ascend, or skills you want to level up, and that material will be important. The Void Dust/class pieces are less so, since you can probably get those rather reliably, but we don't have a better method right now of collecting Evil Bones, Dragon Fangs, Phoenix Feathers, and Seeds of Yggdrasil.

You'll probably want to pick up EXP cards for prisms on the off days, though. Monday at least, and probably just Sat-Wed if you don't care about class pieces and monuments.

yes this game basically exploits the .01% of people who can afford to/have no control to resist spending absurd amounts of dosh on their personal harem. it's basically one long single player campaign with its content stretched out over a few years to stagger servant releases, and gives you the option to buy units you don't really need so when you do find one you want you're shit outta quartz and you gotta pay up

it works pretty fucking well, and the rest of us are content with f2p handouts or spending a couple dozen bucks on a guaranteed 5* every few months. it's a pretty insidious model, but you gotta be aware that the game's whole purpose is to basically stiff-arm you into shelling out cash, and when they try and trick you into paying money they don't pull their punches

If these are the characters you are sure you want, then all of them.

The common blue gems are only going to get them up to Lv.3. You'll need red gems to hit Lv.4, and then red gems plus ascension material to hit Lv.5. You'll need the yellow gems and ascension material to hit Lv.6, which is the first significant point because it reduces the cooldown timer. You're unlikely to make it past that simply because of how few yellow gems you have at this point.

If you actually do have two skills at Lv.4 and are trying to decide which to get up to Lv.6, then it becomes a relevant decision.
