It might be worth it to find a guest that has a SSR Wakaba/Karin combo. I used that unit + R Yoshiteru (ATK SPD up after hissatsu) and all the event bosses with red bars have been no problem.

Either the wording for those effects became more accurate or they actually made some abilities scale differently with levels. Takashima's passive ability now refills the hissatsu gauge by 0.2 + 0.01 more per level on crit when it previously just gave a flat 0.2 refill. Seems like the same applies to Vertex skills.

Also, how do you consistently get your Yuushas in the same square hitting the boss? Sometimes they'll happily swarm the boss together and sometimes moving one in kicks the other Yuusha out which is really annoying.

I three-starred every event level but 5-5, that shit is just broken. Getting around 6-5's insane damage output through planning and tactical damage cut fairy hissatsus was fun. Trying to tackle a fucking damage sponge like Con Fuoco under the timer is not.

I had the opposite experience, 5-5 is relaxing because you can just keep changing your party slightly and observe the effect on the time taken until you reach an optimal party. 6-5 is really stressful because you get swarmed by OP mobs and everyone dies, so it's not fun to keep trying over and over again.

To anyone struggling with the event: You can stop wasting your stamina and go back to the Gun-chan farms for now. The latest annoucement says they'll fix the last part of the event by changing the stage bonus pair from double Yuunas to Gun-chan/Wakaba. That should make it a lot easier.

Sounds like Gin is the perfect person to glue SSR Fuu too for eternity. Fuu's huge HP will lower the annoyance of that passive, let her eat the HP loss from hissatsus, and that +200% attack speed lets Fuu use her fat attack stat.

Just slap SR Ichimokuren on Anzu and you completely negate her weakness.

So, this event has taught us that expert is going to bend us over a table and have it's way with us, right?

Everything was going well in Invasion 3-3 until those two evolved fucking vertex showed. Downhill from there, so many deaths. Sonoko was a true yuusha, held the boss one panel away from the danger zone while a line up of regular vertex piled up behind it. Special would kill them all and push the boss back a bit while everyone else chipped at its health, died, and respawned.

This is the team I used, since people seem to be having trouble on later stages. Managed to 3* everything, except for 3-4, on the first try. I brought a friend Sonoko with me fir the last few. Not even gonna try 3-4 again.

Gin was MVP and held the boss and middle row back for over an entire goddamn minute on her own practically.

1*ed IE3-4 with this party + level 99 SSR Sonoko, it's the longest grindiest fight in the entire game. Basically just slowly grind down his health while clearing out the mobs which are the real threat, especially the beam Vertex and the minibosses. Also I don't recommend this build for it, you'd want heal fairies and to try not to let anyone die.

How did you get so many R Tougou? Have you been buying her every time she's been in the shop? Why didn't you say so in the thread so we could copy you? Is she still worth bringing as a +9?
What's a good substitute for Karin's SSR fairy if we don't have +5 Karin? Similarly for Tougou's fairies if we don't have enough SP for those guys?
What level was your Tougou friend? Do you bring a Tougou friend for everything? If not what kind of friends do you use where?
Is SSR Sekka better than SR Sekka if we have her? Considering the extra SP cost.
What kind of formation do you run? I assume Karin sits in the middle and you move the ranged units around as per the enemy, but how do you deal with Tougou's slow movement speed? Do you use Tama as a moveable unit to take out random mobs that slip through since she moves fast?
Which hissatsus do you use? Just Karin's and occasionally Tougou's, and never touch Tama's?

I used a +12 Tougou and it worked just fine. Honestly, you can just use any ranged unit because crit is fairly irrelevant in a battle that gives you such a huge timer. Just make sure that all units are tanky enough to survive the endless stream of mobs. Also, I used SR Yoshiteru as a fairy on Karin and put +health/damage cut fairies on all others because keeping the scrubs alive while Karin wrecks shit is all that matters.

1-2 Normal in each event seems to drop R Fuu/Tougo at a ~10% chance. I've posted my tougo progress in threads so many times already I so I assumed no one else was going for a red crit build.
Karin's SR fairy is a good substitute for her SSR fairy.
My tougo friends are usually around level 70-80, I strongly prefer bringing tougo to everything but I can clear the map with other friends too.
I don't see why SSR sekka wouldn't be better than SR if you have the cost.
This is my usual formation that allows karin's hissatsu to clear the mobs directly in front of all my units, I don't really move my ranged units that much.
I pretty much only use Karin's hissatsu and only tougo's when I have extra gauge and Karin's is on cooldown
