In EVE Online, "Goons" is really shorthand for Goonswarm Federation. One of the corporation in Goonswarm Federation is primarily made up of SA members (Goonwaffe) but there are also a ton of people that don't even know SA exist.

For that matter, not all SA members that play EVE are in Goonswarm Federation.

Get in close to the bigger enemy ships (spiral in, don't just approach or you'll have no transveral and they'll blap you) and web/scram them to keep them from getting away so that your fleet can kill them.

Alternatively, if the enemy fleet has tacklers that are on your fleet you can pin them down with scram/web to allow your fleet to kill them, allowing whoever was tackled to improve transversal, burn in/out of range, warp off, etc.

As for PvE they're not much use. Might be able to clear frigate burner missions with some of them but you're probably better off with assault frigates in that case.

Interceptors are also great travel ships. With a few inertial stabs and tank in the mids you can get them to have a 2-second align, high warp speed, ignore bubbles, and have enough tank to survive smartbomb gatecamps.

I've actually been living in a c2 with a null static for two years. It is perfect if you want to roam in nullsec. The question is do you really want to roam in nullsec at all these days. A 3-5 people gang can actually get lots of fights there, but when you have more than 10 dudes in your fleet - good luck with getting a fight anywhere outside Providence. People don't even form a fleet 3x larger than yours or drop you with carriers anymore. They just dock up and wait for you to leave. Not necessarily.
A new non-k162 wormhole signature appears in a system. That wormhole then has a chance to "open", i.e. appear as a k162 in its target system naturally, over time, without anyone having jumped it, or it would open right away if someone jumps it, of course.
So really you can't tell with certainty if someone came through a new k162 that you find.
The only way to be certain nobody came through is to realize right away when the new signature appears, be within its dscan range and spam dscan every tick for a minute to make sure nobody could have entered it, with the exception of the combat recons, at least.
From experience I'd guess it's around 50/50 that a new wormhole opened naturally or by some dude jumping into you, so if you're not doing that dscan thing, you should probably work under the assumption somebody did come through and is looking to fuck you up.

I tried to play with the different slot layouts but from what I gather doing an active tank shield fit is 100% impossible because you have no cpu, you only get 412CPU max and you can't do much with it in terms of shield tank. If you choose the mobility drivers you gain 2 mids but if your core offensive and prop mode aren't aligned you either get a massive 7 mids and 3 lows OR 3 mids 7 lows but you're equally pinned in either case for utility or no fucking CPU

I used to kill BS ratters solo with a torp bomber.
They were usually already tank-compromised by a wave of rats and any drones would be miles away, since heavies are slow and nobody trains T2 sentries much.

Solo bomb can kill a ceptor with it's MWD on, if you're lucky, but that's not what they are for.
Gangs of large ships or a single large ship will die to a wave or two of bombers decloaking, launching bombs and warping out. Any FC that has you launch bombs, align then warp is a shitter.
Too many in a single wave and the bombs will kill each other.
You don't tank a bomber, either bomb or seige torp, it's tank is it's cloak and the pilot's brain cell.
