I'd argue that the reason it had a high winrate early on it's release was because subhuman asians were too stupid to aim for the lower plate or flank it, now that it has existed for some time even the monkeys are learning how to kill it. One of the petrol-huffing asians even made a topic about it:

It has the unique downside of height+gun depression and varying thickness of the upper plate, I appreciate WG's attempts at giving it downsides, the Blitz version has a full 8 degrees gun depression all around and the entire upper plate has the same thickness.

The monkeys there were just too stupid to learn it and expected that they should be able to just auto-pen the upper plate or huge cupola, instead of you know, treat it like a new content in a video game and figure out how it works.

Don't think i can overstate how open 20mm of engine vent armor is.
If you're a light or MT, load up that HE and make money. If you are arty, gun to splash that ass. For example with HE, if its got its ass against a wall and you have no hit in front, HE splash any gap in the wall, it will be effective.

That armor is as bad as belly armor in most tanks which arty normally gets its splash damage from.
The weakness is deliberately cannon to the games and should be exploited as such. But how should i expect as much when shitters want to continue the front-only gold engagement meta?

there's a difference between folding in some (or even most) situations and folding in literally all of them, the strongest part of the Revalorise's armour can be penned by the majority of other tier 8s, pretty much every other tier 8 med can either angle itself or take a position somewhere that it can show some strong armour to certain guns, or even just get lucky bounces from people not aiming properly. 1 or 2 lucky bounces a game is still 1 or 2 shots you're not taking per game.

and lets not forget that aside from the armour the rev is slow, tall, and can be spotted from the moon, other paper tier 8s have much better chances of surviving to get off shots because they can stay unspotted or move to good positions and stay in cover, these are things the rev just can't reliabley pull off, it's functionally a tier 6 in these departments.

I'm going to reroll a new account.
I don't give a shit about my stats, the concern here is my account. It's currently skating on thin ice as far as a ban is concerned. My next ban is going to be a year long or a permanent one I'm pretty sure. This is preventing me from taking the game seriously, especially when it comes to spending any money on it.

My solution is to simply reroll, and be more careful and disciplined going forwards.

As a noob I'd teamkill people who deserved it (you heard me right, some people deserve it). Problem is, it's never WORTH it to give people what they deserve, since teamkilling them is a temporary punishment for them and risks PERMENANT damage to your account in the form of strikes. Regarding said strikes, it's 5 and you're permabanned. Wish I knew that before.

Going forwards I'll be more careful since I know more about the rules and the systems in place. Like, it's cool to teamkill blue tanks who are shooting at you, but if they're not blue don't ever shoot them.

The final thing I need to know before doing this is whether or not there's a chance of getting to use a name that's currently taken by someone else. I looked it up and it has 0 battles. It's never done anything and it's almost a year and a half old.

Tracking counts as damage though. If you're going to track someone, you might as well shoot them in a weakspot. From what I can tell it doesn't matter what you do just that you did it. "It" being hit a teammate.

You can one shot a friendly light tank with a derp gun or track a heavy, it's still just counted as 1x team hit and enough of any of those in a short period of time will get you a ban.

That's because the Nameless on console was nerfed to please the retards.

Less armor everywhere so everyone can pen it frontally, 5 degree gun depression all around instead of just the front so it's even more annoying to use.

I agree the consensus that WG is a money-grubbing beast making ridiculous tanks like Defender, Patriot and Chrysler K(can't pen the front and the mobility is so good that flanking becomes a challenge) but the Nameless was an interesting addition with downsides that are not immediately noticeable.

When it came out I tried to get as much information about both tanks from owners, no Edelweiss owner had any complaints about the tank, but every Nameless owner would point out the difficulty of aiming low.

And when people mention the gun depression others would just say "russian heavies have 5 degs too" then the owners would point out the height and others would say "it doesn't matter when all the other stats are that good" but it does, there's no point to a good gun if it points too high to actually hit anything.

Also the upper plate has an obvious balancing attempt with it getting thinner as it gets more sloped.

The thing that annoys me most is QB's "review" not actually mentioning what other owners are saying, he must have noticed being the seasoned player that he is.

I also hate that he called Edelweiss balanced in comparison to the Nameless.

When I fight the Nameless, no matter how good the player is I can just load gold and pen the upper plate or huge cupola, or detrack, flank, shoot the lower plate which breaks their engine.

But fighting the Edelweiss is significantly more difficult, a bad player would just jet around, I can take those out as they stupidly not get behind cover, but when a good player comes around they're hell on wheels, they flank like a champion and their armor handles HE rounds just fine, they can even get lucky bounces from AP shots.

I've asked a lot of Edelweiss owners and literally none of them have any complaints about it whatsoever, they only say it's "fun" and/or "fast".

The Nameless was "nerfed" because the developers felt it needed to be balanced. It had nothing to do with player opinion. The Nameless still has amazing armor for a tier 8 heavy. The Nameless's gun depression is fine as long as enemy tanks aren't right on top of you, which rarely happens because you can out flank other heavy tanks. Anyone that's complaining about the Nameless's armor is a fucking shitter. You have better armor than an O-Ho. How are you going to complain about being penetrated from the front? Every tank can be penetrated from the front at tier 8. Hide your lower plate and move back and forth to make it difficult to pen your cupola. You can't have everything no tank does. If I have no problem brawling with the KV-85 with it's 3 degrees of gun depression you really have no excuse. The KV-85 isn't a low profile tank either.

Your yellow WN8 is showing. At least you can't just buy the WTF E-100. Leaving the Nameless like it was is in the PC version is the first step of making the game more ptw. You really want powercreeped premiums like PC? The Edelweiss's balancing feature is that it's large and it's armor and gun isn't anything special. Tanks will only outflank you if you let them out play you.
