Skrim has like no systemside or gameplay depth on its own, iNeed and FF add a lot. I'm playing a vampire anyways, so it's really only a gameplay element if i'm caught in a blizzard or in dwarven dungeons. Can eat people for food.

Okay, trying to get back into Skyrim moddin, and have noticed some changes from the way things are. TESgeneral reccomends something called XPMSE as a replacement for XPMS, but what is the difference between them, and will it conflict with old mods that used to use XPMS?

I played a bit of frostfall and in fact you CAN die trying to reach the settlement in a lot of cases. I don't care for it a lot though, just feels silly sometimes when my character doesn't feel cold. I just put some fur on him.

With iNeed I set up slow rates so I don't have to eat 5 melons every 3 minutes.

Very late reply, only the brown elf is mine, the other is a follower from another guy in /tesg/, but thanks. I usually just tweak around with MFG until I get a cute smile on her(making use of the disgusted expression is great for this, because its the best way to make a grin). Then I usually use racemenu to tilt her head the way I want because usually the pose looks a bit dumb with the preset head position

It's because people are shits and don't tick KhajiitRace in the CK, so it takes up a body slot but is also invisible. I'll take clipping over invisible any day of the week personally.

You have to do two things -

Open up the CK (it's one of the few things easier to see in CK over xEdit), load up the .esp in question, go into armoraddon, find the item in question and tick the KhajiitRace and KhajiitRaceVampire flags. The item in question will now appear on you head.

But it will probably have major clipping, which involves faffing about in NifSkope. Honestly hats on beasts aren't worth it unless it's something you really really like.

I just got a new PC that can actually play modded Skyrim on ultra. I've spent like 10 hrs installing mods over the last couple days. I've only been reading installation instructions, compatibility notes, and occasionally testing the game to make sure nothing is broken. It's going very well, had a few problems getting the ENB to work, lighting mod installed a weather plugin that completely fucked the game and made snow flakes black and storms would make everything so blurry that you couldn't see 10 feet in front of you. Other than that it's been pretty smooth.

I've just been auto sorting with loot, moving one or two plugins that don't work with loot, and then creating a bashed patch. No glaring issues so far, but I haven't actually started to play the game yet, just been fucking around with new characters to make sure things aren't completely broken.

I have an armor replacer installed that's compatible with my current body mesh, but for whatever reason it's not showing up in-game, they just have their vanilla appearances.
Would I have to do something involving Bodyslide? As far as I know I have all the necessary prerequisites and the mod isn't conflicting with another one.
