Never. Specific servants will get bonuses in events, and there's always interludes, so hang on to one copy of every servant. It's not cost effective anyway. You'll be drowning in gold exps soon enough to the point where even using silvers is a waste. Focus on boosting your best 2 cards and pick up a high level support to carry you through the ember dailies.

Why in the world would you want to prolong the overflow? There is no benefit to having an overflow. If you need XP cards, do the 40 AP daily. If you need mats, do the 30 AP green daily, but use those AP. If you want to level up in particular, it increases your AP pool, the 40 AP ember daily is the way to go.

Yes, that's the intention of the gold lines. He uses mana to basically keep his body together at this point because he's overused magic so much.
Him being BLACKED is because the more you burn your magic circuits by overusing them, the more your skin gets burnt and gets darker (which is why EMIYA is tan).

Pardon me for not knowing, but what's the best thing to do with dupes of a servant who you've already NP'd to full. I've got my sixth Amadeus the other day and I don't know what do with him. What are the schools of thought on what to do in this case?

Who is better Caesar or Nero? I only have room on my Red/Gold team for 1 Saber. Caesar is team oriented, but weaker. Nero I'm assuming is stronger but more self centered.

Rest of the team is Romulus, Caligula, Waver, and someday Nobunaga.
