I have a lot of experience with BDSM, specifically rope bondage, so I'll interject what I know here.

1. Unless you practice, research, or completely overdo it (sloppily and possibly dangerously tying multiple layers of knots) you are unlikely to tie someone's hands effectively, in such a way that they cannot wriggle out.

2. Full body paralysis is not necessary to secure someone. In fact, an effective wrist binding takes away about 70% of a person's agency, 85% if they're gagged (simultaneous for Hisao).
