Don't alt+f4 out of the game, penalties are bugged in a way that if you close the game from practice mode (or anywhere I suppose) you will get penalized as if you had left an online match.
I already messaged bandainamco on their support site, who knows if they'll ever fix it.

I closed the game this way twice (was practicing before going out and alt+f4 out of practice mode to quit the game quickly) and now I got the message saying that I got penalized.

Can someone explain what Steve's ext duck is? I thought it was Steve's second duck where you hold forward and do 2 ducks but I don't understand it in combo notations.

For example:CH b+1~b, ext dck 1, df+1,2~1~b, FLK 1~b, FLK 1,d+1, S! dash, df+1+2

How do you do ext duck here? Why would you even need it here when just regular duck 1 works even if you don't cancel b+1 into flicker? I don't know, I wish someone would make a good Steve combo video with inputs already.

any plus on block kick is probably a high kick. there is no mid kick in flamingo that is plus on block. his fastest attacks in flamingo are 13f in left and 8f in right, both are highs that can be ducked or crouch jabbed. he also can't block in flamingo, so you can counter attack any time after blocking any mid. he's also fairly linear in flamingo since his homing moves take him out of stance and if you block them his pressure is done.

basically just sidestep/sidewalk (left preferably), twitch duck, and crouch jab more.
