My friend recently got me into fighting games with Guilty Gear Xrd, and Blazblue Central Fiction. Its been a lot of fun, even if I am irredeemably shit at them. Even if you aren't a weeb, the games are pretty hectic and fast paced and seem a lot less campy from some other fighters I have watched.

If you despise the anime flavor you may want to avoid them, though.

I legit think they're both top 10 point characters in the game. neither really shines in anchor but the fact you constantly switch out so well makes me never able to get a grip on your playstyle and I'm always having to make hard reads.

Yeah I think so too. I think Vega himself is just under top tier.

Both have massive range on their normals, fast walkspeed, good dashes and if you keep Vega at a range just at cr.mp/st.hp range a lot of characters can't reach him, but he can hit them and quickly launch his partner in. He can also use that range when he backdashes away and hit you if you try to chase. And his neutral j.hk makes people wary of jumping at him

I do tag a lot with that team, but neither character really uses meter at all outside of super or Bison's reversal ex pc. And they can quickly get it back when they do use it.

Yoshi's also a favorite point of mine, while maybe not top ten, his windmill is just so fucking good in combos and getting people out.

wish I could give more advice, you seem to be getting better whatever you're doing. Your aa's could be a little better and your fireball pattern reading. The best st thing to focus on in my opinion is spacing. dunno if combos are too important in st outside of dictator and other chars with t.o.d. stuff.

your fundamentals are pretty decent I'd say, fight good st players for long sets to get better, that DarknessITF guy is in FC sometimes, as well as a bunch of other good st players. hildr too if your connection is good to him, you can learn a lot
