It used to be handy as an on-demand weaponized vehicle that you didn't have to hassle with Pegasus for as well as an amphibious vehicle, but now it's been outclassed by the APC and the as-yet unreleased Technical Custom, as well as the throngs of other ownable weaponized vehicles. Is it me or does the Oppressor not have standard bike-fall-damage physics?
You can crash on a standard motorcycle, get launched a gorillion feet into the sky, faceplant into the concrete and only take 2 HP of damage. But on the Oppressor, suddenly you've got Halo 1 fall damage in effect and will die from a ten-foot fall if you get knocked off.

I can see this to be true when you look at the loose ass parachute straps, and the recently added dungarees. Rucksacks or holsters would look awful, and that's probably why they haven't been added.

These are complete outfits, modeled as one. The issue with GTAO is that everything's a separate piece, and a new piece has to be compatible with all neighboring outfit pieces. That's the issue here.
Even in GTAV , Rockstar has shown they are very adept at making modeled as one outfits. Just look at how great some of the hookers and pedestrians look. Absolutely great.

These are indeed not complete outfits, you can really mix and match pretty much everything in APB:R and your clothing will adapt to what you add to it.
For example, trousers will deform when you add holsters, kneepads, put them under boots, etc in order to not clip with it.

Gamedev here, while it's true that modelling modular outfit peices takes more time, it's not actually difficult to do, and Rockstar can certainly afford to spend the time and money on it if they wanted to.

The fact is, they are getting away with as little effort as possible. If it took R*'s art team more than a month to design, model and texture all the new clothes, weapons and vehicles in gunrunning I'll eat my fucking hat.

I finally picked up an xbone and got the game to play with my friends. I'm really enjoying it so far, halfway to a million so I can be a CEO but one of the things I'm really enjoying is collecting interesting cars.

Is there a picture list/easily navigable gallery of the vehicles in the game? Most of the things I found are pure stats shit which I don't give a fuck about right now. Or if there's anyone here who has a collection too/ favorite odd vehicle? I know about stuff like the Mariachi Tornado, the Hearse, etc and I'm about to try to hunt those things down.

Adversary modes are weird.

I played Bunker Slasher yesterday. I've figured out that the best way to use the shotgun is to run up to somebody and tap R.

In the darkness they apparently can't distinguish your silhouette from their team, so you just melee them with no met resistance.

Embarrassing how well that worked. I just ran at him in the first round and robusted him into oblivion with the flashlight.

It's a fun bike if you've never ridden it. It doesn't handle like a typical chopper, there's nothing else that rides quite like it in the game that I can think of. It's almost like a fusion between the Hakuchou Drag and the Bagger in terms of performance. It's like the Hakuchou Drag where leaning forward is actually faster than leaning back, and that massive back wheel does interesting things with it's traction. You can actually do some pretty fun pseudo-drifting using the handbrake on it. Great engine sound too.

There's this thing you can do with the Sanctus, where if you just floor it from a standstill while holding either left or right, you'll start doing these donut things. A lot, depending on how you play. An 8.5 probably. Though the grind does get different in nature as you level up, and there are different options depending on what you like to do and what you're good at.

I definitely wouldn't, there actually is a nice catharsis to going from early game, when 100k is a lot of money, and buying your first high-end-apartment is a big deal, to late game having millions. Other people in here would probably disagree with me though.

Memes aside I've never seen someone get banned who wasn't hacking/modding. Even if a hacker gives you money you're not going to be banned (that might be different if you're actually asking for money), at worst you'll get your money taken away.

It really depends on what you want. If you want to build a character up and own everything then yeah it's going to require a ton of grinding. But if you're just happy with a few vehicles and playing casually then it's not that bad. Everything in the gunrunning update is completely unnecessary aside from maybe the gun upgrades into mk-2 and the oppressor, everything else is just overkill and a waste of money

Pretty much everything you do is 'grinding' in some form, but particuarlly at earlier levels, you have a lot of options. There are contact missions you get early on which are a good way to make money when you're low level. What you should really be saving up for at this point is a high-end apartment. Once you have that you can start doing heists, which will be your best way to make money for a while. Especially if you can do them all in order with the same people. You can get something like 3 million from all that together. After that buying an office and vehicle warehouse is probably your best way to go, but a special cargo warehouse is cheaper and can also help. Then there's also the motorcycle clubs if you prefer. And gunrunning after either of those.

But then you can also redo grinding heists if you want a change of pace. Races can be a good way to make money if you have some good cars and know what you're doing. Whatever special adversary mode or whatever is x2 money and RP will be a good way to make a ton of money.

Everything you do is grinding, but there are at least a lot of ways to grind (though Import/Export is objectively the most profitable and efficient).
