I dunno how you guys feel about the BGHS anime, but as someone who was heavily invested in the game and the characters in the past, it really felt special seeing my favorite girls get animated, namely Anko (I even use Anko as my nick for all my mobages). Watching the episode almost made me reinstall the game, but then I remembered what a shitty game it turned into and cried a little on the inside.

Is it just me or is there no point in using swords in PTD?

All weapons do the same amount of damage and I can't imagine any situation where I would want to run a weapon type that has both mediocre break and SP generation when I could just run the weapons that are most effective for either need.

I've been playing since pretty much the game came out and I still do. I thought the anime was fairly interesting. It's pretty easy to see where they're going with everything since they're only going to have 12 or 13 episodes to work with. If I was someone who had never played the game, I would be so confused and overloaded with how many characters there are. The staff may be banking on seiyuu fans to stick around for their favorites. Otherwise, there really isn't anything to offer for a casual viewer. Personally, I like that they're not going with lewd stuff despite the game having its fair share. I'm glad Yuri was able to shine in the first episode. It may be the last time she ever will since they have to jam in so much into a short time span.

I'm convinced that they're going to have some sort of "anime gacha" like the 3rd story gacha where they'll add Misaki cards and cards for the other girls until there's like 22 cards or whatever. They'll even throw in a few limited time super broken Misaki cards like they did with Mari. I also wouldn't put it past them to simply release new versions of the old Flora cards with sub card effect on them and put in a couple Misaki cards in the mix.

I like that they experimented with different mechanics. But yeah, that one didn't turn out too well.

Being able to fine tune just when your skills come out seems neat, but it's not worth the extra hassle and leaving yourself open long enough to do a charge attack.

And it takes the spot of far more useful charges, especially now that transform is around.

I personally think colopl outdid themselves with the anime. Game adaptations are always notoriously bad where they say fuck the plot and/or fuck everyone who has ever played this before.

But in this they added everything we all wanted to see like a proper music video for Deep connect, all the students we love animated and pretty much everything plus a completely new girl with a completely new weapon. Even Kanon looked likeable and cute in it so the only thing i'm hoping for now is that they keep up the quality.

This really might be the first time colopl delivers exactly what I wnted in forever.

I kept telling myself not to pick up another game, but maids '16 finally broke me. Still started only in the middle of the event, but lucked out on the Sakura I wanted and got Hinata too. White day reprint got me both Sadone and Urara, recently Renge on her birthday, so that's great all things considered. Got some of the old maids too.

Just rolled G11. This now means I have the full 404 squad. I've also got quite a few of the crafts now. I've got every 5* pistol, every 5* SMG aside from Suomi/G36C and every 5* AR aside from the two Types.
Is it worth rolling on pistols/SMGs/ARs anymore, or should I just focus on RF and MG now?

Did they standardize the orb patterns in descends for scooters? It felt like before each one had it's own pattern but now they all feel the same. At least for the easier ones

It felt pretty fast to me. If you're really serious about grinding the event you can probably farm 30k points and 3 boxes worth of tickets in a day no problem. There's no need to though, just pace yourself because the event lasts long enough that you don't need to rush. No use busting your nut and using all of your stam pots when it's not necessary.

But if you're having to fight hard to keep someone alive, then I don't think it's worth it.

Yes, it can mean the difference between clearing and wiping. But with them on the floor and you reviving them half the time, that's half the team not doing damage.

Faster to just wipe and hope for a stronger team, or farm a lower difficulty.

Had a run like that in original SoK. I brought Ruka, and I think I used all my revives for 2 of the other players. Felt good to still make it through, but that was a very messy run.

In fairness, it was the thirteen star with the poison floor that basically prevents you from casting anything again for the rest of the level, and more importantly, those mandrakes that cut you down to 1 HP.

Yeah there no point in reviving someone clearly not up to the task of dealing with a level. Every so often though I'll/someone else'll encounter a shitty death, like getting offscreen'd by a thrown axe, and then you're down someone useful for the rest of the run.

I don't really think there's arguing there that reviving's a bad thing. I don't really think there's much of an argument in general against it save for trying to get some person that clearly has no idea what they're doing to actually be useful. It just bothers me that the majority of mages I see never bother. Guess it's not something you'd immediately know mages are supposed to do. I discovered it on accident now that I think of it.

Well, mandrakes tend to force me to remember if/where they are in a level pretty quickly, so I just spam skills while I'm aware one's active.

Those things like offscreen long-range attacks are pretty lame though. Normally in other games, I'd say if you got killed by something you couldn't see, that you should pay attention to audio cues more, because a lot of these attacks tend to be prefaced by charging/brandishing noises. That'd be the case here, except there's always so many sounds going on in a fight because not only are the enemies making noise, but the PCs are also making plenty of noise too. It makes it pretty hard to pick out dangerous noises when there's a hundred different sound effects going on at any given time.

Tomorrow I might see if playing on my tablet makes a difference. If it lets me see more of the screen, I might start using it when I'm at home. Otherwise, I think I'll start playing attention to the minimap more, but there's only so much information you can gather from a tiny red arrow.

Just keep grinding 1-4 hard and the 20 ticket boss stage and you should be fine. It helps if you're rank 100 for maximum stamina efficiency using stam pots. If you're a low rank I could see it taking too many stam pots to do 3 boxes worth of runs though.

The rewards are divided by ranks and points. SSR cards (see pic) are locked behind ranks, and SR cards are locked behind points.
For ranks, the reward will be SSR exchange ticket (not gacha tickets, but something closer to SR card exchange from pre-reg). To get all 3, at least you have to get 8-10k rank, but if you're satisfied with only 1, get 15-20k rank.
For points, you can get SR cards up to max LB (5 total) for all 3 cards.

It's more a Remodel than it is modernisation. The only disappointment really was that Suffolk's tits didn't get any bigger. I've always seen her as a human cow hybrid or cowgirl. Usually they grow huge tits because milk stores up in there (It's not real biology but still). So I thought she'd grow larger but then to my surprise she stayed the same. I don't have Charlotte, but I do feel like Yukimura's summon puts in more work than Oscrol's.

I think it's because Yukimura's has more range, and he's slower so it has more time to kill stuff. Oscrol's is nice for the area effect and autoskill buffs, but beyond that I'm usually ignoring it and lasering everything instead.

I won't comment on who is e-sports, but some can be useful for tower. Also getting enough feathers for unlock can take a while, especially when starting out.
I haven't picked my first either, but I have a problem with my options expanding as I play more. "She's pretty cute too" sort of issue. Also if you're leaning toward one of the clover rabbits, you could wait for the 20th, which is when they're getting their outfits.

To anyone interested, Looks like 3-2 is also a good place to farm weapons.
SB2C aircraft is not the best but still a good Bomber, the 127mm gun is one of the best guns for DDs and CL/CA who are able to use a second gun. The 152mm gun is the best (non-AP) gun for CLs and the ejection device is a plus (It increases your carriers aviation).

Since it is a pretty easy stage you can also level up your low level ships here.

Quite the portion of them seems alright, but fire and dark lv.2 is going to make look everything like trash, isn't it. Water was so weak that lv.2 just brings it to "okay for normal clearing" level, and even then it's going to fall back fast with buffwolves.

But most important is that skill burst lv.4 sub is back. Though with skill delay and that may be all they're willing to bring it back with for all I know, but it gives me hope a skill burst 4 with damage taken demerit will appear again.

I have an Amazon Fire HD8 and its been serving me well. Bought it on September 2016 and its still going strong.

Its not amazing but its a pretty nice tablet. It stutters/lags with heavier stuff like Houkai Impact or Project Tokyo Dolls sometimes but most of the time it runs these games smoothly. You can also install google play store on it pretty easily.

Its worst downsides are the resolution and size. The tablet is pretty big and impossible to handle with one hand while the resolution can take a while to get used to but after you get over these things, it'll be a pretty good budget tablet as long as you're not expecting something amazing.

Battery life is pretty good too, it lasts like 4 to 5 hours playing hardcore battery burners like PTD before you have to charge it.

Man, things get super hairy after the 20th floor. Many of the mobs can paralyze you with one hit which leds to a literal gangbang that you can't get out of except by dying. Thankfully my healer Kiana was able to solo the latter half of stage 24 (the one with assualt Mei as last enemy). I only hope that no one else pass me while my team recovers.
