Just think of it as being able to learn every class on one character. There's no cross-class skills or anything anymore. If you really wanted to be a Paladin, you could just level Gladiator 1-70 without ever touching anything else and you'd be fine for it.

No, you can do multiple jobs on one character. There's no class mixing or multi classing. You pick up Gladiator and eventually become a Paladin and only have the skills available to you for that job. You get "role skills" that you can pick up to 5 of from like 10 or whatever skills, but all those skills are related to the Paladin role: Tanking.

Nope, your stat selection from Conjurer is saved so whenever you return to that class your stats will be the same and as you level Gladiator you'll get new stat points to allocate but you aren't losing the old ones, just placing new ones for that specific class, if that makes sense.

I'm fairly certain crafting classes are made to take money OUT of the economy by fucking you over on crafts. It's actually silly how much gil must get siphoned out just from DoH alone

I've been leveling a GLD, and with the road to 60 boost, I've literally only done the 1-10 hunting log, GLD and story quests, and it's been hella easy/fast.

but now, I'm literally only doing the story quest and its fucking taking forever. I'm a level 26 or 27 GLD right now, on the level 16 story quest. The ONLY reason I'm even doing this is because I thought you had to "finish the story" in order to do the level 50 quest, so I could do the DRK class quest(which is my goal.)

Is that true? Because if not FUCK this shit. Traveling from Grenada to Uldafuck over and over is so time consuming.

Please help, also general tips to level quick.

One last question if you anons would be so kind, can a trial account do the chocobo quest and buy a mount? I have a feeling I can't because I haven't seen a quest marker for that quest yet...

with how many leveling incentives they have in place now, you should literally be able to do nothing but MSQ. if for some reason you run short of XP to continue MSQ, just queue leveling roulette and you'll get an instant queue pop (because you're a tank) for a random dungeon you've played that gives a pretty big XP boost at the end

as long as you play tank, you will get virtually instant queues for every 4 man dungeon
