So /fgg/ has recommended the eTokki omni arcade stick multiple times claiming it's one of the best sticks on the market, but can anyone care to explain why it's so good?

I emailed Laugh the other day, got a response, then later that same day the sticks went up for pre-order. Now, why should I get this stick?

It's sleek, it has a nice shape, top tier buttons, and stick, but it's 200 dollars + 50 for shipping, and it doesn't work for 360/one and only ps3/4/pc. It also can only be bought through paypal (which btw I have no idea where I put my paypal info it just only gives me the paypal option and then immediately tells me to complete order).

Why should I get this, over a 150$ free shipping hori and just replace buttons with sanwa obsf-30s or a stick that comes with all console capability?

Well people basically deny its existence so you can figure out from there if it's a good adaptation or not. The VN isn't long if you want to play only one route. You can do it in one sitting. Though if you want a deeper understanding of the characters you'll have to play all the routes and KT.

Probably nobody cares, but I think i figured out what the issue is with the SPD and the counter thing for Gief.

I guess on keyboard if you spin too fast, it never registers the cardinal positions. You get the 4 diagonals, but that doesn't count. You have to hit up down left right.

So basically on keyboard/hitbox you have to slow it down. SOMEHOW you can go from down forward to down back without actually getting a down input. Shits weird.

My issue is that ever since the patch that added the counter, I would have the counter come out instead of the SPD.

It's because the way the game handles buttons . I've been practicing for the last couple hours on making sure the game registers the 4 cardinal positions instead of skipping them because I go too fast.

I also moved my up key to the space bar because I think I'm going to buy a hitbox for sure.

What is safe about his pressure? His pressure ends after glide -> ground string unless he takes a risk in form of iad reset/cmd grab. Also 50/50 isn't an argument, bunch of characters have 50/50s. Raven's oki is also weak to blitz unless he sacrifices the initial mixup or uses specific anti-blitz oki which is weaker than regular one.

To me Raven's strength always lied in neutral, he has really good normals and specials for space control, invul dash and really fast jump. His oki is just your regular GG blender. Drop a ball on your face and do a high/low. After you block the initial mixup his pressure gets significantly weaker.

Also his EHP isn't weak at all, it's Sol tier.

The glide allows him like 5 high hits, and he can ends it early to land for a low hit or a grab. It's just that many grinder projectile mix requires a bit of set up or meter while he can throw the ball out really fast every kd and get it going. Tekken is actually pretty fun. Haven't even gone online yet nor do I plan to and I'm already having more fun than a lot of single player games. Offline Treasure mode and character customization is addicting. Now they just need to fix the Direct3D crashes in windowed mode and it will be my GotY.

Gee whiz, resets are risky, who woulda thunk it. But you're forgetting he can safely end it with scratch and return to neutral where he excels. And that is still better than a lot of characters whose pressure you can IB to defuse.

Scratch isn't safe, there's always a gap before scratch with ib, this is especially bad against characters that can straight out punish longer whiffs by themselves without even blitz like Slayer for example. Obviously if you're not dialing the same shit every time it's good but to say it's safe is incorrect. Iad reset on Raven is ass because he excels in neutral and the initial mixup, you're better off either dialing into scratch or projectile with RC and attempting reset through there than doing pure iad which has heavily skewed risk reward for you.

If you do high neutral jump and get a glide on someone I believe that's pretty much on the opponent not being awake enough. In general shit like that is very susceptible to just jumping out and isn't relevant to pressure resets which is what I was talking about.

I'd call them stupid, but they had enough sense to fund DBZF. Also Spike Chunsoft is shit so its no surprise the PS3 game was terribad. Ganbarion made the 3DS games.
