Latest reveal version, lads. Trying out Avallac'h, Peter and Decoy instead of Letho, D-Bomb and Albrich.

With Avallac'h you don't need to worry about running ADC or Albrich to thin your deck to find Spotters after mulliganing them all, which is great.

Peter Decoy is sadly better than Letho D-Bomb since Axemen are agile. Decoy Vanhemar also allows you to put 4 weather clears in your deck without feeling too miserable about it

Sorry I betrayed you, Lethobros, but Dwarfs are nowhere to be seen. and Queensguards are hipster-tier.

Shackles is mostly for Succubus. YES, THEY WILL FIEND TO UNSHACKLE HER, but it means that Fiend is not hitting another spotter.

Regis needs to go, but it's because he's a terrible design, not because he's OP. Renew might be OP, but it's a very important design to have in the game. As I said before, if you want to nerf it, just put its effect on a golden spy and tweak its strength accordingly.

Honestly, making less units agile would be a great way of giving some interesting counterplay to some decks. If you know what lane the spellatiel is going to play his 18 str card, you can just save a rot tosser, and you'll be able to outplay him even with card advantage.

Nope, I just plugged in what silvers and golds I had, and it works fine. I've been improving it slowly as I acquire scraps. Currently I'm running Phillipa, Keira, Roche, and Renew. I think I'm going to replace Phillipa with Dandelion once I get enough scraps.

The main reasons Yencon used to be good in closed beta were because she was only an epic gold (Since in closed bronzes could be common to rare, silvers could be rare to legendary, and golds were epic to legendary), and there was less rampant single unit faggotry so she was more likely to get multiple zaps in a round than she is now, and the axeman Skellige archetype was more reasonable because you had to use cards like Yencon which were powerful but less retarded than weather. Now she's just kind of an ok neutral, I may have been exaggerating a bit when I said shit but in almost every situation there are a lot of cards you would rather have than her. Vattier at least is really important for one deck.

It's not the worst deck in the world. The infuriating part is when you reach round 3 and have 5 cards left in your deck and it's Ciri Dash, Ermion, Svanrige, Udalryk, and one priestess of Freya. Happens way fucking more often than it has any right to. It's fun to play though. Best Ciri so far was 18.

Ciri, Ermion, Uma, and Lugos. Been waffling a bit on Lugos, since I'm going maximum discard by having Svanrige and Udalryk and pirates I fairly often tear through my raiders before I can Lugos them. I'm not sure what I would like in his place though. Royal decree wouldn't be too bad since it works as a bit of deck thinning and with Ciri you're more likely to have a target, and being able to pull out Uma or Ermion early isn't entirely terrible either. Still, not sure if I would like it more than Lugos because in a worst case scenario Lugos is a 7 gold, but occasionally decree may be dead. Say, second round after losing the first and you draw into all your golds. I just wanna watch the CDPR stream and hope there is something that will genuinely shake up the game. It just got too polarized. Frankly the fact that there are bronze cards that can get 20+ value if the opponent does not have several response cards ready is stupid. It stopped being about bluffing and outmanouvering your opponent, over-extending into one round and not having gas for the next round or two. Every game is "use all of these value cards to win round 1 at all costs, then pass round 2, then follow this strategy with your golds/carryover bronze and silvers to win round 3".

It is not a game of betting and reading anymore - it is a game of following a predetermined strategy.

Renew is fine. The real problem is Hjallmar is far too strong right now. Tibor was considered super strong as a 25 str gold that GIVES YOUR OPPONENTS CA. Hjallmar is a 25str gold with a condition that is easily achieved with all the nuking options available in SK, and the only real way to stop him is Shackles which doesn't impact the board and still leaves you 10str down.

I want to make an Emhyr deck that runs Johnny + Ciri/Ciri Dash for gold spamming. And Avallach recursion to draw people out.

There are still merits to him either way - the drawn bronze card needs something akin to 10-13 power alongside the rest of your cards just to break even against Tibor, and when he was being played bronze cards just didn't have that much strength. I think if they nerf Regis they will lower him from 6 to 4 base.

What is really broken about regis is the Renew (surprise!) interaction that really kills all the Deck that depends on buffed bronze to win R3.

The problm of Renew is that in every way you look the card it's always an autoinclude.

Let's think about it, usually you only need 1 or at max 2 Gold to make your Deck work if it based around a concept like consume or Reveal.

While the great art of other Deck just put the top 4 meta Gold. This meas that you will have something like :

Gold 1 : A
Gold 2/3 : B or B+
Gold 4 : B-

With Renew you have always the chance to Ressurect your top Gold and if that not enough you can ressurect enemy Gold too.

I think a good nerf to Renew would be to be able to summon only Gold cards from your graveyard.

In this way the risk of Renew being a dead card in R2 is a lot higher meanwhile you nerf it because having the cahnce to Rez opponent gold is to OP imho.

Is rarely a dead card since it can resurrect your opponent's cards AND it denies your opponent's Renew.

I think that's the only advantage of losing the first round. They can milk you during the second, but you can start the third one and you instantly Renew that golden that they played early (Hjalmar) and was an obvious tell of the incoming Renew.
