How do you counter instant cross map death? Every game I play there's some faggot corner camping with his scope at perfect height. Of course if you know the map you can usually sneak around them but that requires you to find them first. It's not an effective strategy but it is fucking annoying to instantly die.

This game is fucking awful for PvP. It's nothing but 1-2 hit kill weapons. That's not really fun, it's "who can hit shoot first". The fact that this is what came out of the company that made Halo is atrocious.

The only weapons outside of heavy that can oneshot are Fusion Rifles, Sniper and Shotguns. When you level up over time your armor values increase so you can't get one-two shot by everything. Also try picking up gear along the way that has a good time to kill on it like a pulse rifle or sidearm, they can make short work of shotgun/sniper shitters.

Bungie already has the means to balance weapons in PVP and PVE as it has been done in Destiny 1 on many occasions, the fact they openly stated that each weapon and weapon archetype can be buffed/nerfed accordingly further supports them fixing the many issues between the modes. Destiny was originally meant to be this way, they changed it last minute. But also they are balancing pve where you are not forced to use the same loadout/meta weapon you are uncomfortable using or get kicked.

Hey, I'm legitimately not shitposting, or at least not trying to, but can I get a quick rundown on Destiny 2?

I was fucking shocked to see the Beta was so soon and even more shocked to see the actual games comes out in October.

How is the game itself looking? How does the PC version look? I played the orginal on PS3 and kinda lost interest, but now I'm excited to start fresh with other people doing the same.

The game comes out on consoles in september and we still have very little info.
We will be able to get our hands on the beta in like 2 weeks, but iirc its pretty much just going to be what was available during the gameplay reveal in march.
Looks to be shaping up much better than year one did, but thats also just what bungie has told us thus far.
