I would just have the silo tunnels hanging from the ceiling sans rock, but I'm using the Prydwen interior hull for the tunnels. There aren't any exterior textures for it, so you would be able to see through the whole thing from most angles.

For modding Fo3 and NV, would FOMM or MO be best? I am not using TTW and will be playing them separately.

For years i have played NV and to this day i still can't figuer out what about the combat makes it feel clunky and slow, it just happens whenever i'm playing, especially with automatic weapons and semi-auto rifles.

Nobody would be in the rooms when the missiles launched. There's an observation hall protected by "bulletproof" glass, there will be fans and vents to deal with the gas after the missiles leave, and the actual launch control consoles and stuff will be housed deeper in the facility. Presumably, everybody would be in the command center when it came time to launch. If there was any need for emergency repairs or something while there was still gas trapped in the rooms, they would have robots handle it.

The game is unoptimized as shit, its truly unplayable on PS4 because the game performs like dogshit, but your card is just too weak. I have a 4GB 960 and its okay. I can get a solid 60FPS most times on high but I guess my VRAM is not good enough or something because the game will stop loading textures after a while or do some other fuckery.

I've done EVERYTHING from lawful, gunslinging, cowboy NCR-fag to full blown melee only cannibal viking. I even did a complete pacifist run with0 (ZERO) kills (It was fucking boring).

Right now I'm trying to breathe some life into the explosive skill, but I can't seem to make it work, any suggestions? Lobbing 10000 sticks of dynamite gets old pretty fast, and the "fun" explosives are way into the game.

Alright fog, I listened to another anon and followed a video to fix his ayyymd rainbow textures glitch. The bid told me to extract all my ba2 files using some program that I can't remember because I'm stuck at work.

After fucking my fallout hard, and four reinstalls with the last one having me to delete all of my fallout files I finally got the game to work again. Now the problem is I use NAC and of course enb, and it used to take like 15 seconds to boot up. Now it takes a minute or so. How do I finish fixing this shit? I won't be able to try the fixes till tomorrow, but I figured it would be good to ask now.

Personally I'm not a big fan of installing both at once, they have very contrasting styles. This is even noticeable in the details: NMC generally keeps things "normal", Ojo Bueno goes as far as adding its stupid label to everything: billboards, car plates, etc.

SE Commonwealth guy from the other night, what's the consensus on companions in these mods? I've got plans for 3, a ghoul, a human, and a defunct sentry bot (Defunct as in not OP as shit and is sort of like the Big MT Sink bots), and want to put a little focus on making them worthwhile.

Also, would people want settlements? It's not that big a deal to me in the base game, but I can think of a few areas that'd make nice settlement locations.

no. if you try to install a game onb your ssd through steam it'll create a SteamLibrary/steamapps/common and put the games in it.
Just like the normal steam folder however, the steamapps folder contains appmanifest.acf files that tells steam a game is installed.

You'll get away with copying Fo4 to SteamLibrary/steamapps/common and placing it's appmanifest.acf to SteamLibrary/steamapps and restarting Steam.

Also I don't think I'd exactly call CC paid mods. Bethesda even is making a ton of the assets. Its more like micro transactions in my opinion. Its kinda hard to explain, instead of throwing out a system and saying "Go wild, kiddos" like the 2015 shitstorm, it seems more regimented and assisted by Bethesda, to the point of being something more than just simple mods, and more akin to micro transactions. I have 965 hours in Fo4 and I still find ways to enjoy it. Not as much as I initially did, but I find new ways to enjoy it. A lot of that though is through the settlement system, however.
I also easily had over 2,000 hours on console version of Fallout 3 and around 400 - 500 hours combined for New Vegas (360+PC).
I think I might have undiagnosed autism or something. Honestly, joking aside, it wouldn't surprise me if I was somewhere on the scale but function well enough and had crappy enough parents to never pick up on it/get it checked.

Before I fucked with settings, my 4790k + Fury X could be crippled down to 15fps around certain parts of Boston. That is at 2560x1440 though, but even still.

How Toaster friendly is New Vegas? I played it on Xbox years ago and was thinking of going for Ultimate Edition now only I don't know if my garbage computer could handle it. I can run Mount & Blade but that's about it as far as performance goes. Would my rig catch fire immediately upon loading the game?

No fallout game is friendly, but due to how old it is people have found a vast amount of ways to optimize it. If you go through some work to download optimization mods you should be fine to run it on low/medium on almost any computer
