Excalibur at base is just Excalibur without anything covering, but not glowing golden. IA surpasses that in power, but if Altria decides to use the Golden Version meaning she pumps it with prana, it hits much more harder than IA.

Shirou cut Herakles entire arm with Caliburn, which should have even less cutting power than Excalibur, and yet Lancelot with his armor tanked a hit to the face from Invisible Air.

Should have the same cutting power as Galatine, Clarent, Arondight, Balmung, Caladbolg, Durandal and whatever other sword that comes to mind.

It should definitely have more cutting power than Caliburn, as Excalibur is stated to be more fit as a battle weapon and Caliburn is just a fancy decoration type of weapon that even broke in battle. Yet that was enough to chop off Herakles whole arm.

You could argue that base Excaibur is even worse than the Caliburn since at the time it could've been used the same way Artoria uses the Golden excalibur.
There's a huge lack of proof on the whole subject tbqh.

That does raise the question, do different ranked NP's have different raw physical ability? Would an A-ranked sword be better than a C-ranked one purely because of rank, or could it be down to individual stuff.

It's possible, but there's no real elaboration to it. We just know "it's a worse weapon", and being a worse weapon has alot of possible things that contributes to it.
There's not alot of proof for anything though since it's so vague.

I personally recall the swing that fucked up Hercs arm was the same time of Swing Gil used to fuck up Caliburn with Merodach, which was charged.
I might be wrong though, either way though, ther facts we DO have is that.

We can't really pinpoint how much more the other has, because it's vauge as shit and I might be wrong on both ends.

From Bond 5 onwards you need like 200k/lvl instead of just 5k or so

You can check that in the profiles when tapping on the bond crystals

IIRC for 1 and 2* you get
1 apple for bonds 6-8 and 1 quartz for 9-10
for 3*+ you get 1 quartz for each bond level

at bond lvl 10 you get a special CE, tho I dont think besides Herc there's any really worthtwhile the grind
