pyro soft counters heavy in tfc and can kill him in half a second in tf2 with reserve shottis

engineer is a tossup in both incarnations. EMPs fucking destroy pyro instantly but pyro can also kill sentries with little effort and engineer is very fragile in general. in tf2 pyro shuts down gunslinger engineers and fares decently at picking off either the engineer or level 2-3 sentry, just cant do anything when the engineer is healing it.

soldier has consistently been the bane of pyro's existence since the beginning of time except in the current build of fortress forever

I don't have a link, but the workshop creators of those two hats and multiple other hats had been pretty open about making their hats all class with the surge of the updates. In their lack of secrecy, people bought a bunch of the hats and unusual variants of them with the intention of marking them up when they became updated. I don't remember what specifically happened with the casemaker and headcase, but I'd assume either they were hush about it and told only a few people who bought a large quantity of them or they just got wise to what was going on with the updates.

Too complicated, plus kills the diversity. Degreaser only needs one thing imo;
- 40% increase in airblast cost for 3 seconds after switching
So it makes airblast cost 35 after a quick bait switch, and it won't be a fitting weapon for a Pybro if you don't settle down on autistic weapon swaps.
Flank Pyros will find themselves out of ammo more often and will feel the need of carrying a Shotgun more instead of dicking around with Flare.
