Because there are some FFs with a disproportionate amount of characters either way due to being too old (I) or too favored (VII). There needs to be a variety of events otherwise it'd get stale. Plus there are fans of some of those "bottom of the barrel" characters, some of which even haven't even gotten in but have potential. Plus they don't want to add in spin-off realms yet so as to not overwhelm the casual player (even though a CC realm would be extensive enough for a realm and events).

there is more to look forward to in good quality banners and relics imo. It makes me wonder why I've been seeing a good number of posts from people saying they've got Aileen, but no one adding each other. With the G5 banner, now would be the perfect time. When you pull Orlandu, standard procedure is to add the many other /ffg/ Orlandus, something which has been simplified by the large number of them being put in the doc in the OP. But Aileenfriends have an even greater need to add each other, as Orlandus are common as grass what with everyone and their mother pouring their resources into getting him. And yet, the number of Aileens in the doc is very scarce and we don't add each other in the threads. Is everyone just waiting the months/year for enhancements to use her?

Working on aqua blade as my second weapon for Tidus so I can use the 4th materia slot for something more useful (probably Sozhe for HP/atk on top of 2 Shines and DKS).

Considering leveling a Bowie Knife as well to have around instead of a second DW. Seems like using a weapon that gives innate DW is much more useful slotwise even if the weapon has 20-40 less attack since whatever Materia you use instead buffs both hand attacks.
