Her only viable build right now is razor>mallet>tank/support and trying to cheese dragons at level 1 and herald as soon as lanes allow it. Stone plate+ locket is decent on her if your sup doesn't build it, knights vow 3rd can be fun if you have a carry doing actual damage. Dead man's or randuins are situational, boots are mercs or tabis.

If you get hilarious fed early you can go tri instead of mallet and try and end early, but the mallet slow is usually to good to pass up for more damage if the game drags out.

It's usually determined by how much other ap damage your team has, or by how good or bad your adc is.

It's wrong to say "X is better than Y" in this game, because of how situational every game is.

In different patches, the problem with pros is that they will pick what's meta most of the time on a certain patch, then move on. Which is not their fault btw.
Take MSI (main event only) as an example. Most games had the same picks, plus Trick playing Nunu because fuck it. There were some pocket picks too, like GAM running Liss on last game, or silly shit like the Garen ban but that's it, for the most time it was a shallow champion pool.
