In the cat shrine, talk to the shrine maiden, then talk to cats until Luka says something after, then talk to the shrine maiden again.
In the tanuki shrine, talk to the fox, then head to the right side of the orochi falls and talk to the tanuki there.
There shouldn't be anything to do in the fox shrine.
There was something to do in the snake shrine, but I can't remember what.

Afterwards, talk to the village chief and he should give you the item to allow anyone to become those 3 jobs, which is likely a required quest to recruit Shirohebi.

Latest bitbucket files work for 2.00-2.02, although 2.02 did add an image for the yuki-onna and a new Patch.rb. I threw those up on the official_update_files branch, even though they aren't part of the script itself. You'll want to copy them into the /out directory after rebuilding the game. Even if you skip those files, playing 2.02 without them is probably less buggy than playing 2.01.

I'm not waiting on anything. I'm going to provide an alternate patch process that doesn't care which Japanese version of the game you have. It'll be much easier for everyone, and it'll give you all the latest bug fixes and improvements without having to redownload the entire game with each new update.

The DIY method was only provided because all the files I want for the first patch aren't ready yet. It turned out that merging hundreds of thousands of lines of plain text and scripts was more labor intensive than expected and resulted in lots of mistakes.

Xelvy makes abominations as well, but at least a large portion of them are still legitimately attractive, even if in a why boner way. None of Delphinus's creations are attractive, the closest to come to it is Vitae.

While the general has an issue with Setouchi's same face, at least his characters have actual personality in their design. As to Arekishi, well, he's my favorite artist in the series so I have to disagree with you there.
