Try flying againest Kinessa and other bullet spewing heroes and see how fast you get cut down. Drogoz's hitbox actually extends to his tail so when you are flying, you're twice as long and likely to get shot at.

Speaking of anti-air, holy shit is Ash stupidly long range now, I think the longest range barring Ruckus. All those idiots crying about the lack of short range AOE is missing out on the sheer deleting of any aerial targets which easily shoots Ash up to almost top tier as a support tank.

Evie is only stronger in terms of DPS than Buck and Maeve, and Lex after the first second of his engagement, not allotting for headshots.
Buck can still surpass Evie's max DPS with net and jump combos, as well as his ability to land headshots.

Evie has the least confirmable damage of any of the flanks, no way to raise her DPS in a pinch(Headshot clutch/damaging abilities), and most of the hitscan characters who have easier confirmation on their damage have higher DPS than her anyway.

Complaining about Evie and saying that she has strong DPS just shows utter ignorance of the DPS's of any other flank character.

As far as 1800 HP of healing that has to be channeled while immobile being overpowered, if you can't deal that 1800 damage back to her after she's sat there predictably healing before trying to escape with her mobility skills that all have startup delay, after her ice block that has end lag, then that's a problem with your ability to punish people for being out of position and not a problem with Evie's balance.

Couldn't of said it better myself. Reprieve Evie's are generally pretty bad. They are predictable and always wait out the ice block for 3 seconds in the middle of a fight for the healing. Its so easy to counter, grab a mate and shoot or cc her when she comes out, that Evie is dead even with full health... An Evie that uses ice block, blinks 1 second after, flies away and uses worm hole is much harder to counter than reprieve Evie...

Evie to me is pretty well balanced currently.

He's actually pretty fun, but it feels like either his weapon attacks have a few extra frames on the tail end of the animation.

You throw out a few slashes, then go to block or billow and it doesn't activate - you have to click it a few times for it to actually register.

This is pretty unconfirmed, but from what I've heard, the official(or what used to be) lore of the game and why it's called "Paladins", is because the game centers around a tournament hosted by a king, with battles featuring star fighters from across the realm. This explains the ethnic diversity of the roster and the arena-style battles that go on. Whoever wins the tournament is appointed a Paladin by the king, and can pretty much live a life of extreme luxury after that(maybe they'll become super soldiers in the kingdom's army too, idk).

You'd probably actually like this, /vg/ is a bad place to ask if people like a game (if someone on this board tells you they like the game they play, run). But it's not really like those two. The TTK in Paladins is a lot longer than OW, and that carries over to the ults.

For example, Bomb King's ult is pretty similar to Junkrat's, except it doesn't instagib anyone and he needs to actually put himself at risk to use it. It's still powerful, but it's less annoying.

Still though, I don't see how OW is better. I guess it's because it's a complete game so it has less bugs and more polish overall, but it's not as fun as Paladins imo. It's "better" and "worse". The maps are the best example. Each OW map is more detailed than all of Paladins put together. Every square inch of ground has lore behind it, each piece of trash has a short novel about how it got there. Unfortunately, they're still not very fun to play on. Paladins' maps are amazingly free and open without being turtlefests or sniperfests, but the only interesting thing to see in them is the vague lore in Brightmarsh.

Paladins could really use a dedicated melee attack. I'm trying to finish off some guy who started running away and we both end up staring awkwardly as we reload or wait for some CC ability to come out of cooldown.
