I feel that way about most chalice bosses but not those two. I dunno maybe my strategy for them sucks but I'm consistently frustrated by those bosses even after all this time with the game. Though shitting on both of them with a completed character is quite satisfying.

Also Hemwick Witches is a good addition. The worst part about them (aside from the FPS rape) is that due to desync they'll frequently spawn another set of mad ones even after they're dead during coop, and unlike spiders they don't despawn.

I think the most important thing to that fight is learning how to roll through their 'walk forwards you, rear up, and slam' attack with absolute confidence.

As for Darkbeasts... well shit, I have to admit that sometimes they just go berserk and leap around everywhere and own you without, but if you can get them into the perfect cycle of breaking their limbs it is so satisfying, oh my god.

Anyway I usually die like 10-15 times to both of them because I'm a turbo scrub so it might just be that we have about the same amount of trouble with them and I'm just more of a masochist than you.

The enemies in Demon's Souls aren't that much slower than Bloodborne's enemies especially relative to the players' speeds.

I counted the rough amount of enemies in 1-3 between the start and the first shortcut to be 40 soldiers and even the first real level puts you against fairly large groups.

And then you have 5-2 with the 3 large rape goblins.

Oh, I see. You've fundamentally misinterpreted my post. I don't mean there were 20 enemies between me and there, I mean I fought 20 on that balcony alone. About 5 or so were already there when I walked through the doorway. 15 more walked through the door to fight me on that balcony. Presumably, anyway. I only witnessed about 4 of them doing that since the rest showed up while I was still fighting.

I'm not complaining about the volume of enemies, I'm complaining about the "mass" of them, if that makes any sense. I'd have been willing and able to fight them if they had been spread apart, but they aggroed while I was nowhere near them. And if that's something I'm just going to have to cope with then I'll either try to adjust or sell it for a fidget spinner at gamestop. But coming off of the souls series, I'm a bit taken aback. What else should I not take for granted?

Incidentally, those 3 big-ass inbreds were avoidable in 5-2 and the only reward for fighting them was a stone of ephemeral eyes, if I recall.

I ran like hell past Djura, if that's where the bullets are coming from. There was a staircase behind me leading to a hunter who refused to be parried, healed himself, and took shit for damage. Taking the hint, I ran like hell. I ran to the left through a doorway, fought maybe 5 enemies, and was done with that room. I went down some stairs and to the right. I took a door to the right. There were maybe 4 or 5 enemies on that platform. I killed them. Then more and more kept coming.

I don't mean where he told me he had to stop me, I don't mean some contrived area that exists only in my mind, I mean a concrete location. If that doesn't give you an idea of where I'm talking about, I don't know what to tell you.

I did get one win, when it was a 1v2 instead of 1v3. I stopped invading eventually because triple BMA cannons are not the most fun in the world. Especially since it always found them when they'd already cleared the place, so I couldn't even lure them into traps.
