Problem is everything is made around raiding in this game. To get into raiding you need to be geared. To be geared you need to raid, but you are not geared so goodluck getting to know someone who gets you into groups.

Game is just meh, like everything from modern Blizzard. Also heavy pay to win with wow tokens (lol).
