>>181068549Thanks.
Yeah, I'm trying to come up with more stuff (mostly stuff related to that one), but I have a hard time with things that aren't related to sexe. Let's say if they go out and Ashley wears the red suit (it can't be too strange a sight, right?), the problem I have is coming up with things that move the scene forward. What happens before they leave, what happens when they arrive, what do they talk about, do they get mildly lewd, etc.

> also i have binoculars
>>181069402
http://www.messier-objects.com/messier-64-black-eye-galaxy/
>The Black Eye Galaxy occupies an area of 10.71 x 5.128 arc minutes, corresponding to a linear diameter of 70,000 light years. It is a popular object among amateur astronomers because its bright core is visible even in small telescopes.
Binoculars reveal only a faint, irregular patch of light, but 4-inch telescopes easily show the galaxy’s large, bright nucleus and if observing conditions are particularly good, its large dark dust lane.
The dust lane is even easier to see in 6-inch telescopes, while 8-inch instruments also reveal the galaxy’s outer regions, which appear as a large halo of wispy nebulosity.
The Black Eye Galaxy is not particularly easy to find. It is located about a degree to the northeast of the star 35 Comae Berenices, which lies 4 to 5 degrees to the north-northeast of Diadem, Alpha Comae Berenices, a binary star with a visual magnitude that varies from 4.29 to 4.35.

Also, that's a big fuckin' goat, 2.6m tall. Would've loved to see something like that (albeit a bit changed so it doesn't literally look like a goat).
Imagine that thing ramming into you.
I didn't like how weak the opposition felt in this game. The kett don't have the variety of ME1's geth; even the basic geth troopers felt like they had more varieties and weapons than than the whole kett faction. Nor do they have walking tanks/gunships/missile artillery/12-foot mini mechs/etc., nor is the average kett superhumanly strong enough to fire guns that would break the arms of normal humans/lift a heavily armored man by the neck with an outstretched arm/just jump out of their ships from hundreds of meters in the air to enter combat. They're just not very satisfying to fight and kill. Every major faction in ME3 and ME2 was also better.
Plus there's only three varieties of kett plus a few boss fights and reskins of other enemies. And those varieties themselves aren't too different from each other and don't have any sub-varieties as enemies in these types of games usually do (like how standard troopers sometimes carry different weapons or have a slightly different model). You could have at least had some occasionally carrying rocket launchers. They don't even have any combat vehicles (well, the dropships actually do have guns, but they never use them).
That, plus the damage sponginess (if patch 1.09 just doubled the damage of every weapon/power used by every character in the game, it'd play much better) is my main complaint with this game's otherwise solid combat.
>>181067686
I want to know the odds of continuing Andromeda, whenever they do decide to pick up Mass Effect again. It was a shit show, but they have a lot of critique to work with to try and significantly improve on the next game.Plus I liked a few of the characters and the setting, I'd hate to see it just vanish off the map.
>>181067686

It's a shame Montreal squandered half their time and budget and had to rush out a 7/10 game in 18 months. I actually liked the premise/structure of the game. Going around in a small-scale war with your elite team that single-handedly kills hundreds to thousands of the main enemy faction and wipes out several of their operations (clearing out bases, destroying supply lines, repelling raids, disrupting intelligence efforts) with just that one squad. In the process turning the balance of the war in favor of the allied faction, while also taking care of various other problems and gathering up allies to cream the enemy faction in the final battle. If it was better executed and the crunch didn't leave them with shit like none of the choices having immediate effects and there being only 4-5 types of kett without even cosmetic variation (which quickly become repetitive to kill), it could've been much better. It reminds me a bit of Fallout: New Vegas.

Alright, Snake, your mission is taking out these three emplaced guns the Blue Suns have deployed in the area. Our client needs them gone before they can start airlifting in troops without getting shot to shit.
If you can destroy the munitions and repairs bays that'll deal a good blow to their continued operations, too.
Remember, the commanding officer of this Blue Suns unit is in the field, as well. Grabbing him could give us valuable intel in addition to striking another blow. Besides, who knows, maybe we can turn him to our side.

why is Liam on the ship again? No one likes him making him a disruption to team cohesion, he doesn't have a job outside of the ground team, he constantly fucks up and leaks classified info that could get people killed, he's always on the cusp of causing a diplomatic incident, and he doesn't even have any military or paramilitary training and/or experience. It just seems weird. Cora is prim-and-proper as hell as explicitly says she reviews everyone's classified dossiers before having them approved to be on the Pathfinder team, which she knows is primarily a military operation where each member is going to be personally gunning down dozens to hundreds of people. She mentions in Nomad banter with Drack and Vetra that she reviewed both of their dossiers and concluded that they'd make great additions to the team before officially adding them to it. Which just begs the question, who reviewed Liam's and came to the same conclusion?

The codex mentions that some elite soldiers get cybernetic upgrades to grant low level superhuman strength and durability. That's why waifish asari mercenaries in ME2 can fire the arm-breaking Claymore with no problem, and why the ME3 MP characters can wrestle off cybernetic monsters, kill cyborg soldiers in heavy power armor with a few quick punches, run around at an athletic sprinting speed with the same difficulty as a light jog while carrying 100+ kg of equipment, and easily lift Husks with one outstretched arm.

I hope Anthem fails. It deserves to fail. They abandoned a loyally-followed IP with great potential (which they squandered since ME2, but fully since ME3) for kikier and kikier development. The next issue of that prequel comic came out today. Apparently Kandros initially joined the Initiative under false pretenses, serving as a spy for the Hierarchy to investigate if everything about the project is as it seems. Also his mom is a bigshot general and he wants to escape her shadow and is butthurt that everyone says he'll never be as successful as her.

the gameplay got huge improvements, combat became much quicker and more agile, the random convos between the player and other characters aswell as convos between characters became much better. Overall the game felt much livier. Furthermore the upgradde system was really good, while they kept the streamlined power upgrade system (now with more choices to make) they reinstated the weapons upgrade system. Now you could mod your weapon to your likings, had more weapons in gerneral and now it mattered what kind of weapon you´re carrying, as it influenced the powers, depending on which and how many weapons with which mods you´re carrying.

Is Andromeda worth a pirate?
I liked ME3's gameplay a lot and thought the story was kind of okay most of the way until it went full retard after Kai Leng appeared
I also liked DA:I, but I completely ignored the open world and fetch quests
>>181120692
Forgot to add: I liked Adept and Vanguard most in ME3 but it sounds like that playstyle might be fucked now since you can't use your squad to set up explosions?
>>181120692
Andromeda's story makes ME3 look like Citizen Kane.
>>181120692
Andromeda placed more emphasis on Ryder's job as Pathfinder through side quests he gets to make Heleus safer for living than main quest so you probably won't enjoy the game if you don't like that aspect
>>181120874
>>181120858
That's sad
I don't have a problem with open world conceptionally, but DA:I really was just finding pointless collectibles and doing quests that consisted of going somewhere to pick something up

That's unlikely, they have backups upon backups of everything nowadays. A better scenario would be the one in which there isn't enough staff left at the studio to make the DLC.

It does, but what would they stand to gain? I would spend this effort targeting something bigger than MEA, at least.
I dont see how they expect their hardcore drones to buy anthem when they are fucking them this much with andromeda especially in context of the bullshit that already went down with ME3
I also dont get why Andromeda isnt Anthem considering that its ripping off many elements. The anthem style reboot is what the franchise could have needed after 3 setting it in a post reaper galaxy
>>181126493
Anon is right
Against my better judgement I actually paid money for Andromeda because I was desperate for more Mass Effect, but going through the game I just can't be assed to give a damn about anyone or anything that's happening.
I don't give a shit about the colonization efforts, and the constant hippie shit everyone in the initiative spouts is both retarded and hilariously out of place considering the massive trail of bodies I leave wherever I go.
The first three mass effect games gave you an in depth look at both Alliance military structure as well as the inner workings of the Citadel as a Spectre, why on earth would they think after three games of being a soldier involved in galaxy-spanning conflict people would want to switch to playing as the same loser colonists you spent three games saving.
The underdog aspect is completely gone. The Council-governed races have a galaxy spanning civilization of countless worlds both settled and wild, but despite their advancement the Reaper threat makes them look like insects, they've been killing organics for millions of years and have gotten very good at it.
The angarans are idiot space hippies confined to a single cluster that need an armed pathfinder escort just to dress themselves. The kett are dopey looking angarans that use weapons that look like they're made out of poop.
A hundred thousand idiot chucklefucks from the Milky Way arrive in this awful backwater and are suddenly the most powerful and advanced group in the system.
There's no risk, no sense of danger or urgency, and if you played the trilogy you probably think the Andromeda initiative is a waste of resourced that could've been used to fight fucking reapers. Like, the entire idea is something so stupid that it could be a one-off dialogue option in ME3, where you can convince someone that their idea is retarded and they should stay and fight rather than abandon the milky way and you'd get some war assets
>tfw there will never be a mass effect rising revengence where you hack and slash xenos and humans
welp meg is dead again
>>181131821
I could imagine that Mass Effect as a shooter/roleplay is somewhat unfit for a colonization setting. It would much rather fit styles like we´ve seen with settler, civ or the Anno series, where you´d actually colonize new worlds. A shooter just needs an enemy that can be shot at. The OT did it with the reapers and their henchmen. And just forcing an enemy to shoot at into a game, doesnt make it better.
Welp, time to retake that magnificent rock from cerberus.

>there will never be a Councillor Armstrong
>>181118808
The outfits were better, it was a much more tight narrative than ME2, visually it was great. What sucked was the tacked on multiplayer, the rushed development and the toll that had on the game. Also, the writers were replaced by hacks.
Why are all the asari in Andromeda so fucking UGLY.

>>181135039
I actually preferred ME2''s narrative to 3's. It has a clear beginning, middle, and end, you have freedom to roam and explore as you see fit instead of feeling rushed, it's much more about character progression and relationship building than just getting more meaningless war assets to fill a nebulous meter.
There's a sense of risk and a clear threat with regards to the collectors and their attacks on colonies, but it's not such an overwhelming urgency that you feel guilty for stopping to smell the roses. In ME3 doing sidequests while trillions die to the reapers just makes you feel kind of shitty and a little out of place, whereas building your crew and developing your relations with them in preparation for the suicide mission was not only encouraged but makes narrative sense.
Solving people's personal issues so they have a clear head and can better focus when it's time to go into the vents/maintain the barrier/hold the line is good.
Dealing with daddy issues and family conflicts while Earth burns and billions die across the galaxy, eh. I felt like shit any time I delayed doing the main quest of ME3, whereas in ME2 I was basically done by the time I went after the reaper IFF
Loyalty missions and gathering new crew members from the dossiers was wayyyy more fun in ME2 than just having people thrown at you in ME3. Going to Omega and finding Garrus moonlighting as Archangel, vigilante extraordinaire, running into Tali and her quarian crew, seeing what the galaxy had been up to for the 2 years you were dead was fun and exciting.
Being under house arrest just wasn't the same, and makes a poor excuse for being uninformed since it's not like you didn't have access to news or Internet.
I preferred ME2's combat and weapon upgrade system as well but I think I'm in the minority there.
>>181135676

>>181135940
ME2's crappy narrative was why ME3 had to rush things, it was good as a standalone game but ME2 was shit as the second entry in a trilogy.

So the whole Facebook hoax is getting covered in PC Gamer and elsewhere. Shit man, if I knew that all I had to do to fool people and get coverage in "gaming news" was put up a fake company Facebook page with stock images in five minute,s and then announce on a forum a few months later that I work for Bioware and they told me DLC got canceled, I would've done it myself.
So would mass effect solid kaz still sleep around with the women of mother base

>You suddenly find yourself pulled from the dredges of sleep. As your eyes slowly blink your mind back into the land of the living, you begin to take stock of your surroundings.
>While you can barely make out her form in the dark room, you can feel her in your arms.
>The warmth of her body radiating through the many soft fabrics of her suit, contrasting with the cool feel of your bed sheets. It's a wonderful feeling.
>Her strange, alien legs are intertwined gently with yours and you can feel one of her three-toed feet rub softly against your calf.
>Her arms are wrapped tightly across your chest, her dainty hands clutching tightly at the fabric of your shirt. Her smooth helmet nestled snugly between your shoulder blades.
>You chuckle quietly to yourself. You aren't sure how exactly you ended up being the little spoon, and from the way she's holding you, you're starting to feel like nothing more than a gigantic teddy bear.
>You aren't sure when exactly you fell asleep. You remember lying face to face on your bed, listening to her idly chat away about, well, something. The details were a little fuzzy.
>What you do remember, however, is the strange feeling of her three-fingered hands gently playing with one of yours.
>The way her fingers danced between yours, idly chasing the contours of your hand. She seemed to be interested in every single part of you, right down to the creases in the palm of your hand.
>As small as it was, it was a feeling like no other. You remember feeling so calm, so relaxed, that you closed your eyes and listed to her soft voice as she continued to-
>Ah, well, that explains the current situation.
>>181225968
(Cont.)
>You feel bad for the poor quarian. She must've thought that whatever story she was telling had bored you to sleep.
>Well, not too bad. She seemed to have no issues taking advantage of your sleeping form, but you aren't one to complain about that.
>You smack your lips as you suddenly become aware of the overwhelming stale feeling in your mouth. You realize that you haven't done so much as brush your teeth since lunch yesterday.
>You decide you should probably remedy that now instead of testing the capabilities of the quarian girl's air filters.
>Rolling gently out of bed as to not wake the sleeping form next to you, you silently begin to make your way to the bathroom, taking a quick moment to glance at your bedside clock.
>It's only 3:24 A.M. Giving your best estimate, you realize that you've only been asleep for barely over an hour and a half.
>You usually don't have this much trouble sleeping. Perhaps the quarian has something to do with it.
>Flicking on the light to the bathroom, you find yourself staring bleary-eyed at your reflection in the mirror. You quickly come to realize that what you see is not the most attractive sight.
>You've had better days, sure, but in your current state you reason that it would take a significant amount of alcohol to even convince yourself otherwise.
>As you begin to go through the rhythmic motions of brushing your teeth, you wonder about yourself the quarian finds so... interesting. You certainly have trouble seeing it.
>You mull over in your mind whether or not that is something you really want to know.
>>181226087
(Cont. 2)
>The feeling of two lithe arms wrap themselves around your waist jars you from your prior thoughts. You lift your head just in time to see the top of a robed helmet peek over the top of your shoulder in the mirror.
>You feel her smooth helmet press into your back as she squeezes you gently.
>"What are you doing?" asks a groggy voice behind your back.
>"Mmm brmhm mm mhmm." You respond, your mouth still full of toothpaste.
>You watch her head slowly peek around your arm from behind your back. Her eyes narrow. "...What."
>"Mmm BRHhmm MM mHMmm."
>"I'm sorry... I think my translator is um.."
>You spit out your toothpaste into the sink. She seems slightly startled by this action.
>"Just brushing my teeth." You say, giving her a winning smile in the mirror. "See?"
>"Ah...ha." She says, still not entirely convinced. "Using that?"
>"What, this?" You say, holding up your toothbrush.
>"Yeah, that." She let out a small laugh. "I'm pretty sure I used a brush like that to clean small parts while I was on the Flotilla. You use it to clean your... mouth?"
>"Well, yeah.. I mean, if it works." You say sheepishly.
>"What other strange things do you humans do that I don't know about?"
>"Well, I dunno. Considering how normal I thought brushing my teeth was all the way up until a few seconds ago..."
>"Oh, okay." She responds, giving you a light squeeze. "Do you think you could, um, come back to bed? With me, of course. I..I mean it's late and I could, ah, use the company."
>You give her a sly smile. "I think I can manage that."
>>181226160
(Cont. 3)
>You flick off the light to the bathroom, and follow her closely back into the bedroom.
>As you begin to settle into your side of the bed, you hear a soft "..Hey." pierce the darkness.
>"Yes?" You reply.
>You feel a three-fingered hand slowly make its way into yours. "I just wanted to say... goodnight.. and.. thanks."
>"Thanks?"
>"Well, um, you see.. ever since I arrived on the Citadel, no one's bothered to.. I mean, you're the only person who has.." She squeezed your hand a little tighter. "Oh Keelah.. sorry, I'm.. doing it again.."
>"Hey now, don't go thanking me yet," you say reassuringly, "Lets see if you can survive me attempting to make breakfast tomorrow morning first."
>"OH..oh.. okay then.. goodnight."
>"Goodnight." You respond, glancing one last time at those mysterious glowing eyes watching you carefully from behind that mask.
>As you turn over, you hear her mumble something faint and unintelligible.
>But before you can think to formulate a response, your head hits the pillow.
>The last thing you feel before falling asleep is a thin arm gently snake its way underneath your arm and across your chest.
Sorry if this one seems shorter/cheesier than my previous ones, but I'm not done yet. I'll write the second half tomorrow. As always, feedback, criticism, suggestions.

I love this shit out of this and lawyerfu. You two are basically the only reason I have the tab still open. If I may ask, (and I mean to ask lawyerturfag) do you take personal experience to write this awkward tentative scenarios?
(1/2)Also, thinking of writing a fic myself. Maleman/femtur, human first person perspective. Contemporary time moves forward over maybe a week or few days while the majority of the story is spent in a chronologically backwards flashback. Beginning with the first time unconditional love began to wane a with genuine uncomfortable resentful episode or whatever, until the first time they said "I love you" on a major date. Premise is a recently divorced (few months) couple that is seeing eachother for the first time since they finalized the divorce a few months ago in order to square away ownership of their bar (on a Citadel Ward arm in a trendy neighborhood). They opened it a year after marriage, 5 years or so after FCW, & it became a trendy young couple's hipster bar especially for interspecies couples (they became a popular local news item after their purchase of the bar). As most of the story is spent in the past tense, working from their first relationship-rocking fight, the present events occur days before Valentines.
This means nothing to anyone but humans, & the male is determined to set up a Valentine's bar night more and more with each passing day of the ownership split. He's losing equal share (to minority due ti divorce terms) to his ex, and she's basically a total ice queen/hurtful bitch in contemporary narrative (and the biggest sweety in flashbacks). Ex husband is bitter as fuck, but throughout the story is coming to softer, painful regret as he remembers their true love phase throughout this finalization of their split. He's basically atoning for his regret with one last Couple's Night event at the
>>181228282
(2/2) bar before losing input due to share loss and basically being reduced to investor status instead of co-owner. I want an Eden-like ending where (genuine spoilers):they don't magically make up in the end, but during the course of the narrative they come to remember the good times and ease up and display painful regret for their wasted love and petty selfish grudges. Last moment ends with Sovereign's attack on the Citadel. Running away from the bar as they finalize decorations for V's Day, as a chunk of Sovy's debris comes hurtling after them, they stare into each other's eyes wishing that they had never let petty bullshit ruin what truly mattered to them: each other.
Decent premise, y/n? I want a bittersweet romance you already know the painful failure of.

There's nothing crazy about her. No cleavage, no constant butt shots, etc. Though, I don't know if that says more about Ashley as a character, or Bioware's shift in design and tone.

this mission takes place a couple of months after the death of the hegemony leader
>boss bad news its the batarians

>they had a mole high up in the citadel it got leaked that they had a hand in the death
>in retaliation and to get back at the council races they snuck a small team of black ops aboard to captured a station that was being used to train biotics from each of the council species, and are ordering the council to give up the person who took the shot. now they didn't ask for our help but they may cave if we don't act quickly enough, and the last thing we want is the entire hegemony coming down on us
>i see what you mean. whats are the council doing right now
>as much as you would expect. they positioned their fleets to catch any escape attempts and are beginning negotiations. they want their recruits back and they may give us up to do so. boss you need to ether take out all the batarians holding the station or extract all the kids aboard.

Just tested it. Underarmor is compatible with every other armor in game (except helmets), so you can use it with your custom arms, legs and armor. The n7 helmet should always be equipped, unfortunately, and it most likely means no normal voice in the field cutscenes. Hope they'll find a way to replace underarmor without replacing helmet with it. Sara's hips are not as wide as they really are in this armor, but this can be easily fixed with non-n7 legs, with pathfinder's, for example.

>Yesterday, a widely shared Facebook post claimed that BioWare had canceled Mass Effect: Andromeda’s downloadable content. The good news: that Facebook post was a hoax. The bad news: they guessed correctly. Mass Effect: Andromeda will indeed not be receiving any single-player DLC, three people familiar with BioWare’s plans have told me.
>In April, as we reported, BioWare scaled down its Montreal studio, whose staff had developed Mass Effect: Andromeda with help from BioWare’s other studios in Edmonton and Austin. The chilly reception to Andromeda led the company to transfer BioWare Montreal’s employees to other projects, including Star Wars Battlefront II, Anthem, and the next Dragon Age. Although a small team remains in place to work on Mass Effect: Andromeda’s multiplayer and patch support (which isn’t done yet), most of BioWare Montreal has moved on.
>It’s unclear why BioWare has not yet talked about these plans publicly—and the company did not respond to multiple requests for comment over the past two weeks—but this will no doubt come as sad news to Mass Effect fans. BioWare has traditionally released meaty, excellent downloadable content for all of its games, and Andromeda left several loose narrative threads that still need to be tied up.
>The future for Mass Effect, however, looks dismal.

You forgot Cortez.
Silus Coraxian was a fit young turian girl, with dark blue facial marking denoting her planet of origin. Having recently made it through boot camp, she was finally a part of the military, a job she had dreamed about since a little girl. You see, Silus didnt dream about being a war hero or a great general, or anything like that. Silus was a sick demented person even as a child, and dreamed about committing war crimes, and as she grew older said crimes evolved from mere beatings to torture, rape, and killing. Luckily, the Turians had recently discovered a new species opening relays, and she jumped at the chance to show these "humans" what she could do to them.
She was there at the Occupation of Shanxi, and delighted at abusing the local populace.
One day, a young human boy looked at her funny, and she had him arrested on trumped up charged of conspiracy to incite rebellion. Of course she knew this was bullshit, the boy was barely an adolescent, about 15 "years" of age as the humans put it.
Silus now had free reign to interrogate the boy who was spread-eagled on a metal bench, and she was determined to enjoy every minute of it. First, she asked the standard questions "Who are you working for", "Who are your co-conspirators", "What are you planning" etc. She knew he couldn't answer any of those questions, which filled her heart with joy as she then was allowed to "enhance" her interrogation. Electric shocks ripped through the boy's body, causing him to convulse and writhe in pain. His eyes wide with terror, his teeth clenched as his screams struggled to escape them. After nearly an hour of this, Silus got bored. She decided to directly physically abuse him in combination with the shocks. She had stopped asking questions long ago, and the boy couldn't even speak at this point. She punched him in the stomach, causing him to wretch before she resumed the shocks. Another punch, another shock, again and again until the boy coughed up blood. (contd)

Seeing an alien's precious life-fluid made Silus flush with her own blood. Her slit began to swell with sadistic intent as she realized what she wanted to do next. Quickly stripping both herself and the boy of their pants, she then mounted him, the boy's penis erect in terror. She laughed as she engulfed his dick in her plated slit, and laughed again as she felt those plates scrape against his sensitive cock, causing him to wince and groan in pain. Every thrust of her hips, she punctuated with another punch to his young face. Cruel blows struck him in the face again and again, the cuts from the plates on her fists beginning to bleed profusely, his nose already broken, his jaw threatening to break, and his eyes beginning to swell shut even as tears flowed from them. Silus came so many times she lost count, and every time the boy passed out from repeated blows to the head, she would simply sit on his face until his body convulsed from lack of oxygen and he was revived. Finally, she had come so much the boy's lower body was soaked, and here legs became weak. She pulled herself off the boy's now bleeding dick and released him from his bonds. He fell to a crumpled heap on the cold metal floor his jaw broken, face bloodied. Silus then squatted over the boy's face and relieved herself onto him. The hot piss stung every cut on his face, and caused him to cough and sputter as the bitter liquid splattered into his mouth. She forced his mouth back open, and made him swallow. She knew that due to her amino acids being incompatible with his, this was in essence poisoning him. That made her cum again.
Once she was done, she had her fellow guards also piss on the boy, and then threw him out in an alley for him to stumble his way back home, beaten, bloody, and soaked in turian piss.
While Silus would rape, beat, and violate many other prisoners in her care, she never gained as much satisfaction as she had from this one boy. She pleasured herself to the memory for years.

a gang would be "a self-formed association of peers, united by mutual interests, with identifiable leadership and internal organization, who act collectively or as individuals to achieve specific purposes, including the conduct of illegal activity and control of a particular territory, facility, or enterprise."
Garrus´ squad, in fact, wasnt aimed at conducting illegal activity nor did they plan to control their territory. Their aim was to disrupt criminal gangs by raiding their drug couriers and killing armed groups. You could see them as a nonregulated police force or militia, much rather than a gang. Furthermore, contrary to your statement, that gang star of as groups of young men, Garrus squad was a unit made up of members with elite training, Garrus mentioned himself that his squad consisted of former STG members, explosive experts, and former c-sec. Their targeted primarily the gangs that caused the most trouble, namely Blue Suns, Blood pack and Eclipse. There is, for example, no indication, that they targeted "non-violent-towards-civilian gangs" and other local militias, e.g. Arias "police". The circumstance, that it may appear, that Garrus squad is shooting indiscriminately may be explained by Garrus remark that he just had to point his gun somewhere to hit a criminal.
From what is known about Omega through the codex and various characters throughout the game, it is obvious that Omega is a hive of scum and villainy, thus there are indeed a lot of ill-intended individuals roaming around, and compared to other places like the Citadel the number of gangs is much higher on Omega.
And to say it again, a key aspect of a gang is criminal activity, which consists usually of drug trafficking, extortion, robbery, and kidnapping. And none of these acts are committed by Garrus squad, apart from killing hostiles in a firefight.

>Garrus´ squad, in fact, wasnt aimed at conducting illegal activity nor did they plan to control their territory
They did exert de facto control over their territory as the self-appointed police, and vigilantism is an illegal activity. Or at least it would be if he was in an area with any law, but that's like saying there can't be any gangs in Somalia because there's no law.
> Their aim was to disrupt criminal gangs by raiding their drug couriers and killing armed groups. You could see them as a nonregulated police force or militia, much rather than a gang.
A non-regulated vigilante militia is almost literally what an early street gang is.
> Furthermore, contrary to your statement, that gang star of as groups of young men, Garrus squad was a unit made up of members with elite training,
who are all young men. Garrus himself as the leader is a 26 year old ex-cop.
> Their targeted primarily the gangs that caused the most trouble
Again, real gangs almost never shoot at people who are not other gangs.
> The circumstance, that it may appear, that Garrus squad is shooting indiscriminately may be explained by Garrus remark that he just had to point his gun somewhere to hit a criminal.
Yes, you're again describing how gangs work. They shoot whoever they want to shoot and declare it okay because those people were probably connected to another rival gang that they don't like.
> And to say it again, a key aspect of a gang is criminal activity, which consists usually of drug trafficking, extortion, robbery, and kidnapping
A gang doesn't necessarily have to run drugs.
Garrus's squad also kills unarmed gang members all the time and participates in executions. Which, if Omega actually had a police form, would quickly get the police after him and classifying his group as just another street gang. which they are. Paragon Shepard notes as much despite Garrus's weak attempts to differentiate them.
>>181275146
put a suit filter on that and you have it
>>181275316
No shit. This underarmor doesn't need anything else, really. It's perfect as is.
>>181275627
An additional caveat: the Blue Suns ARE the police in the district Garrus operates in. As in they literally run their own mini-state there and are part of an interstellar empire that owns planets. And while they're not good people, the people who live there (you talk to them in Mordin's recruitment) don't make the Omega branch sound any worse than a typical third world police force. They leave you alone and keep the riff-raff out as long as you pay your "taxes."
A group of armed young men in a rundown slum who are sick of feeling powerless, operate as the de facto police/militia of their neighborhoods, partake in vigilante executions, and indiscriminately shoot at the closest thing to a local police force. They're a perfect example of a street gang, they just happen not to run drugs.
Where they actually do get the money for their weapons, armor, food, equipment, and penthouse is never elaborated upon. Likely they just pillage from other gangs. Who in turn probably make it off the drug trade.

> They did exert de facto control
I dont believe that eliminating a controling factor equals taking over the territory, e.g. when the US air force bombs out a position of hostile forces, they don't automatically take over said territory, however the control can be assumed by other factions, be it gangs or civvies or it could fall back under the l"laws" that are established by Aria as the "Queen" of Omega. However, yes, vigilantism is an illegal activity, making him a criminal just like Robin Hood, William Tell or Klaus Stoertebeker.
>A non-regulated vigilante militia is almost literally what an early street gang is
It has the potential to become a full gang, just like any neighbourhood watch or clique of young kids. But the potential doesn't necessarily lead to a certain anticipated, criminal result. In addition to that a Militia isn´t aimed at conducting criminal acts, they´re supposed to defend a certain population from harm and keep order in the absence of any other means of executive force. Also Garrus squad isn't non-regulated, but rather auto-regulated. From the talks with Garrus on the Normandy, it is known, that they agreed on certain rules, like no civilian casualties. Garrus himself praised his squad for having zero collateral damage, a score, most forces on earth can just dream of.
Also, it should be noted, that vigilantism is seen differently in certain communities. Let´s take western literature, especially western folklore, where folkloric heroes and legendary outlaws (like the aforementioned ones), where vigilantism is connected to the fundamental issues of dissatisfied morality, injustice, the failures of authority and the ethical adequacy of legitimate governance. Which begs the question, whether there are forms of vigilantism that are acceptable and forms, that are not.

> who are all young men. Garrus himself as the leader is a 26 year old ex-cop.
how do you figure their age ? I couldnt finde a source that gives their age. Also isnt really 26 young, that would count as adult. Furthermore with his turian background i would presume, that they´re more capable of being a responsible individual as a human the same age.
> Again, real gangs almost never shoot at people who are not other gangs.
I didn't say, that they would shoot anyone. I said they targeted gangs that caused the most trouble. This could include robbery, theft, and extortion. And from the game, it is clear, that the targeted gangs indeed committed these acts. E.g. in the quarantine zone you can hear how the blue suns used extortion on a regular basis and the blood pack was used as hitmen.
> shoot whoever they want to shoot and declare it okay because those people were probably connected to another rival gang that they don't like.
that´s not the case, they didnt shoot whoever they want, they picked their targets carefully and prepared well sought out ambushes, again I´m quoting Garrus here "We´d hit their shipments, drug activities [...] make them angry. They´d come charging right into our well-prepared kill zones...clean and surgical." This shows that they knew very well, who they were facing.
The aforementioned remark is metaphorical, they didn't shoot randomly if they were, you´d contradict your own statement that you´ve just made before (actually you just contradicted yourself, but whatever). This remark is more aimed at expressing the sheer amount of criminals that is present on Omega.
> A gang doesn't necessarily have to run drugs.
you´re right, not necesarrily, however oftenly. There are other means of criminal activities like theft, extortion, murder, rape, slave trade etc.
>>181275627
>>181284286
> Garrus's squad also kills unarmed gang members all the time and participates in executions
Quote: "We´d hit their shipments, drug activities [...] make them angry. They´d come charging right into our well-prepared kill zones...clean and surgical."
I highly doubt, that angry gang members would charge unarmed. And I havent found a an indication, that Garrus and his squad would execute unarmed people, if you have, please show me.
It is true, that on the Citadel such an vigilant activity would be impossible and illegal, however, it should be noted, that such an extensive criminal activity, as it can be found on Omega wouldn't either be possible.
And desu, he follows Omegas first and universal rule: Don't fuck with Aria.
>>181284895
>And I havent found a an indication, that Garrus and his squad would execute unarmed people, if you have, please show me.

oh, haven't seen that one. Sorry.
> the Blue Suns ARE the police in the district Garrus operates in
Nope, a Police force is the executive of a legislature/judiciary, which is not present on Omega (apart from Aria and the Blue Suns don't belong to her in ME2). The Blue Suns have different branches, that is true, and in the quarantine zone, you see them as the ones enforcing Order. However, they do that while extorting the civilians. E.g. they cage civilians and press them for protection money, making them criminals nonetheless. And this makes them different from even third world police forces, which may not meet Western standards, but they are obliged to adhere to the law.
> Where they actually do get the money for their weapons, armor, food, equipment, and penthouse is never elaborated upon.
It is actually. Quote: "We made money by taking down slavers, pirates or gangs that went too far." After neutralizing the threat they could simply loot their storages, (figure of speech here) it´s easy to take weapons and other goods from taken over ships or locations, esp. since their former owners don't need them anymore

I don't see where that is mentioned. I suppose you´re referring to Har Urek (I'd say it´s a Volus, the name doesn't sound very quarian, it also could be a batarian in a space suit), who suffocated because of a quote:"environmental suit malfunction". It´s not stated how this malfunction came to be, perhaps garrus shot through an air tube. That is speculative.
The one with the cough could be a Salarian, and he got killed by his own weapon, as the dossier says that he was a viral specialist. Again I´d presume Garrus with his superior marksman skills shot a vial containing a virus and the virus infected Zel'Aenik nar Helash. Doesnt really make him unarmed, when he carries viruses that he potentially uses to kill his victims.

>"Don't lock your elbows. Keep some slack in your arms."
>You feel like an action figure as she grabs your hands and pulls them closer into your chest. Her palms were still as soft as you remember.
>"And finally, tilt your head."
>A triplet of long, slender fingers make their way up your neck and into your hair. You notice her hand lingering in your supple pelt a little longer than necessary, her fingers rolling through the soft strands.
>"Exhale, squeeze, then follow through."
>A pop escapes from the muzzle. Lowering your weapon, you scan the display for the shot's impact.
>Bullseye.
>Grinning with pride, you turn back to your mentor.
>Her eyes suddenly snap to yours with a guilty expression. She'd been staring at something below your waist.
>She quickly collects herself. The skin around her eyes wrinkle as she shoots back an innocent smile.
>Little did she know, her mandibles betrayed her embarrassment with their characteristic twitch.
>You check your omnitool after the range closes for the evening.
>There's plenty of time to get back to the office and finish your summation. A good one is sure to make you win a conviction.
>Looking up, you scan your surroundings for your colleague. She's nowhere to be seen.
>A whistle and a wave of her hand catches your attention. She's hailed a cab, happily beckoning you to join her to wherever it was this little adventure would take you next.
>Closing your omnitool, you start towards her. A smile spreads on your face.
>From the looks of it, you've already won.
Sorry for the delay, life's a bitch. A bit shorter this time, and up at the wrong time of the day. Tell me how it is, pls.

>um, just reboot the OT, change some details, I need my galaxy, where I feel safe PLEASE!
>>181297876
Can't tell if this is bait or if you just really hate the Milky Way for some strange reason.
>>181298318
Milky Way's story is told. In a series with choices, you can only move forward. With ME3's ending, that's impossible. The idea of rebooting the OT is fucking stupid, and it'd be a hard reboot right after a soft reboot? There's plenty to work with in Andromeda.
>>181298741
>With ME3's ending, that's impossible.
Uhm, excuse you! Make "Destroy" the canon ending and set ME4 25000 years later. It is very simple, anon! Please stop defending Andromeda!

Absolutely not.

>>181318742
I dunno. Big fingers like that would make hand holding kind of difficult, especially since there's only two of them. The way Scott holds Vetra's hand in their clifftop scene seems like the most uncomfortable thing possible, even if you had big hands.
Maybe it would be better if you split your fingers like the "live long and prosper" gesture?

She smiled, her mouth opening just a little as she moved in. Was this really happening? He hesitated, he watched her eyes disappear behind her airlocks.
His lips parted, almost on their own volition, the hot moist air from her maw tickled his skin and he felt his skin stand on end.
Her hard beak touched his mouth, she made a sound deep down in her chest and pushed against his mouth, tilting her head so that the sides of their noses touched as she kissed him.
Something slick and hot licked the underside of his lip, the smooth muscle penetrated past his teeth and licked slowly along the roof of his mouth.
"hhmhhmm" The turian moaned, evidently enjoying the way his tongue brushed against hers.
The feeling was strange, her tongue was so long and even so she pushed her face into his. it tickled his tongue, twirling around and licking all along the sides.
It was like making out with a rock, a rock with the longest, softest and most dexterous tongue.
He grabbed her around the waist, eliciting a muffled gasp from her. He realized this was like groping the breasts of a woman, but she placed her hands over his before he could pull away. Bystanders walking past (bywalkers?) paused and stared.
She didn't care, caught up in the moment, feeling his breath on her tongue and his tongue on her.. tongue..
"uhh" She pulled his hands in, pushing harder against the sensitive skin at her waist. "mmhhmm" He ventured into her mouth, pushing against her tongue and past her chinplates. She tasted like minty tupari.
