Survivalist is fun. Jack of all trades classes are always fun. Maybe not the best for the super high difficulties but being able to play however you want between waves without switching perks is nice.

They're pretty obvious, the most expensive weapons are usually the best with some exceptions.

For survivalist I like the SCAR with an RPG-7 in the back.

Skirmisher already gives you both, effectively.

If you're taking high enough burst damage to bring you from 100 to 0, as opposed to chip damage that the health regen can't take care of, you may be doing something wrong anyway.

I also personally like the speed boost as a spaz with a protective instinct.

Survivalist is fine, it's my favorite class. You can run basically whatever you want with the extra carry weight perk. Running like 3 different perks top tier end round weapons is awesome.

Sure you moderately less damage with them but the fact that you can cover all bases while staying alive through anything makes up for it imo.

I just hate that you can't stick with HE grenades and have to opt for molotovs or med grenades at level 15. Bigger explosions and zeds exploding at random are crappy skills too.

HE grenades are nice but molotovs aren't bad and the extra carry weight is more than worth it. Agree with you on the other perks though. Exploding zeds can be nice when it wants to work but rng perks in general are meh.

At least the final tier perks are pretty nice. I always go for the stopping power one. Double barrel or RPG-7 to the face in bullet time blows fleshpounds the fuck out.

I don't know man, my experience with loading the game was fucking horrendous before moving it on an SSD. It's worked fine since, but my friends that don't use SSDs still take about 10 minutes to load the game.
