Can we stop calling the developers lazy?

This hits a soft spot for me as I am a AAA developer myself (Not for Ubisoft or their affiliates). It's unbelievably disrespectful and just uncalled for.
The amount of absolute blind ignorance into how complex or simple a problem may be to solve is staggering. Of all the things developers can be at one time or another it's super rare to find one that's being lazy. Do they exist? Absolutely. But I guarantee that 99% of us care very deeply for the games we work on and want nothing more than for them to be as good as they can possibly be.
Developers can make bad decisions and developers can make mistakes, but please stop calling the Siege devs lazy every time their solution for a problem ends up being something that on the surface appears to be "simple". I especially know since i worked with them, i am the freelancer who made Geisha room.

There are one way walls and surfaces that you can either shoot through or use to your advantage otherwise, like using a valkyrie cam that can't be seen by the enemy
The game randomly removes all of your weapon attachments
There are still spawn kill spots that haven't been covered, and the sheet they put in Kanal not only doesn't fix spawn killing, but it also makes defending server room that much more difficult.

The game is absolutely fucking broken, and simple patches can reintroduce previously fixed bugs or just break the game outright. They tried to remove the 8bit Ubisoft charm through a patch and people reported game crashes because of it. They put the sheet metal up in Kanal instead of moving the spawn point because it was connected to a slew of other problems that they couldn't be bothered to fix. I'm sure that most of what they advertised isn't going to be in until well after Operation Health finishes, if at all. The first update was pretty much just a menu screen change. What happened to making everything server side? 60 tick rate? They already went back on adding more game modes even though it was outlined in their roadmap. None of what they've done so far justifies the amount of time they're taking, and it doesn't justify the 3 month delay that they announced days before the announcement of the next season.

I've experienced many of the worst bugs I did before this shitshow with about the same frequency. The revamp of matchmaking is nice but if my bullets still go straight through someone's center mass without registering or they continue to fail to clamp down on ping I don't give a shit if I get a match quickly.

High value target. defenders lose one operator for someone to play as the VIP who will have a handgun and be wearing distinctive civilian clothing and is a 3 speed 1 armor or even 2 speed 1 armor if the former proves to be too annoying. defense gets this trade with the advantage of having a moving objective. attackers have to find and kill the VIP before time runs out. VIP's location is consistently updated for the attackers much like a jackal footprint scan.

I think this would be a fun gamemode, definitely not for esports but it would be something new. what do you guys think?

well the VIP has to hide, so its gonna be a pain in the ass on most maps to kill him. he can also run away if the main holding room is being stormed. The way I imagine it playing is like any other objective mode with a stationary objective, but once the main room starts getting too hot the VIP will have to move out and run to a different spot with the defenders to back him up. the attackers will need to back the vip into a corner and try to seal off all escape routes before going in for the kill.

VIP game modes only work in an escort style map. Something that Siege doesn't have. Even then, the VIP tends to not have a lot of fun and always gets blamed when shit goes wrong. VIP mode in TFC was a lot of fun on paper, but in practice it was pretty shit.
