That's not how that works at all.

The point is even if you somehow don't manage to discount the card once. For 7pp you can play a 5/5 and a 3/4 with storm. Something that costs 9 pp or over two turns with Garuda. And once again that is ignoring the discount. A single pp discount on the Lion is huge.

I also consider 5 health extremely important in the year of our lords Grimnir and Eachtar. Though Eachtar will be around less after the expansion, Grimnir sure as fuck isn't going away.

I'm starting to think Hector might be the card that everyone is underestimating right now. Yeah he's not the best thing ever, but fanfare doing 3 damage to enemy face on a 4/4 ward for 5 really isn't bad, there's not many cards that let you do face ping like that without using an evolve. The neutral condition really isn't a problem in decks that would run him.

Dragon doesn't do anything more that Haven hasn't done for the longest time. Haven even being the only class that has a positive winrate against shadow right now when nothing else does. I'm not sure of which imaginary follower decks you think of but the only one that has been relevant that is no longer played is tempo forest and that's because the last time it received support was DE.

Either way we have two midrange decks currently t1 and the reason the other midrange tempo decks aren't is because Cygames didn't give them any new cards this expansion. But you're probably a retard who thinks Shadow and Dragon are going to stay t1 in WoD despite getting almost nothing.

Every single expansion has been dominated by some boardflood midrange/tempo deck and here we have some retard telling us that follower-based decks are doomed. You're an idiot.

Also, IIRC, the strawpoll asking when people had started playing the game had DE winning by a large margin.
