I may just be shitposting from my subconscious mind but I've noticed that longer life-span games tend to be games with implied and noted information.

>Skyrim
>Fallout 4
>Portal

(I'm sure there is more, i'm just a lazy twat)

What does /vg/ think of this? I know its likely because people can then theorise in groups like /vg/ extend the life cycle but I just want to know what others think.
