I'm town planning and i'm so lost. I feel like my map isn't good enough, i feel like villagers in the wrong places are taking forever to move,... I feel like it's all meaningless and by the point I get things together a new AC game will come out. I never had a real town because in every game I got bored/didn't know what to do and restarted without even "finishing" it/doing something with it.

My current peppy villager's moving out soon, so it might be nice to get Victoria to replace her. But I'm not entirely sure I'd want her. I've also never gotten a villager to come to my town from another one, so I'm not sure how it works. Do you just go to the town that the animal is leaving and talk to them until they decide to come to your own town?

You'd have to get Victoria from Makie's void. That would be a different process than directly adopting her. If Makie still has her in their void, you go to their town or they come to your town when you have an open spot and there's a chance Victoria will move from their void to your town within a few days. Adopting normally you go to another player's town and talk to the villager in their home when they're all packed up until they agree to move.

Pinochet style extra judicial executions of villagers I dislike.

I give Isabelle the order which is then passed to Copper and Booker who break into said villager's house in the dead of night and are promptly chloroform them and load them into a helicopter when everyone else is asleep.

The villager is then loaded into a helicopter and dropped into the ocean where the sharks take care of the rest.

Went and hacked all the grass in down back to life cuz it was starting to look like I was playing city folk again.

I love the way grass looks on tiles that are never supposed to be grass like cobblestone (cobblestone especially looks nice). It's a shame the grass just instantly dies the next day on tiles that are meant to be dirt patches or underneath buildings, I'd love it if it stayed this way.
