EVE is full of autists who think that volume is more important than margins and who will drive down all profits just because they can. Once they've ruined a market they move on to the next system.

The only way to fuck with them is to have more order slots, I've got 9 Tycoon characters and make a comfy 12b per week with only updating orders once per week. Sometimes I won't make any sales for a week or two but that's ok because some other alt will make up for the lost sales.

I've worked out solo stuff to do, I've started multibox mining schemes, done trading etc. I've just never really done any sort of PvP or anything that might benefit from two people with decent combat skills. I don't think we can "hold" a wormhole and the cost/risk of putting up citadels seems significantly higher than a cheap pos was before so I'm not sure sitting in a small wormhole is a viable/fun venture for the amount of risk involved since theres no way we'd be able to hold off invaders or anything. Suicide ganking miners seems retarded and not fun. I don't think my friend is interested in doing trading stuff with me, I'm not sure that doing it with someone else is better than just using an alt.

Bored of missions but need to buy game time with ingame money? Do hi sec incursions for some of the best money in the game and fun fleets with best fit/geared people.

In terms of time invested for returns, It's far more profitable just to go to my job and buy PLEX than grind for hours for ISK.

If I make an average of 300mISK/hr for 6 hours a day, and roam/pvp/fun for 2 hours I get ~1.8B.
If I skip 6 hours of grinding (and the damage to my soul module) and go to work, I earn (at current plex prices) just over 2B per hour. If I spend one hours wage on EVE, and just play my 2 hours of """""fun""""" I've saved 5 hours grinding. If I invest it all in EVE I've made 12B per day.

As a person who also has disposable income I am questioning what enjoyment I actually derive from the game? Time is important to me and EVE almost fills the Farmer/Hunter/Gatherer niche of obtaining food (ISK) which means I am addicted to the grind itself which is fucking sad.

What is mining but berry picking? Most non PvP tasks are a variant on foraging. Ganking is more of a hunting/trapping task, large PvP fleets are social while solo PvP is predator/prey or boarhunting with a spear.

In the end I don't seem to enjoy any one activity yet I do them because my genetically programed behaviors are tricked into believing EVE brings food.

This is the big problem with EVE right now.
IRL wars make huge bux. But with the micro Economies in large alliances being so vertically integrated and the only real expense they have being war, it's tough.
If pilots had to buy their own ships, ammo, modules for fleetops, war would be a very profitable endeavor.
Or if there was a way to capture infrastructure intact.

I'm a nullbabby with enough Isk to buy 33 large skill injectors, how should I use them to make more Isk?

I run 6 VNIs atm but 3 have crappy skills, I make between 250 and 300m/hour.
I could run 7 perfect skill VNIs for 31 injectors and make ~400m per hour. The alternative would be using them to inject one alt into a Rorq or a super and grinding the Isk to buy either with my VNIs.

Depends on what you're going to do, probably. The longest and most annoying skills to get when you're new are Hull upgrades V, required for T2 armor tank, which you cant use unless you're omega, and Drones V, which allows you to control 5 drones.

Why? You have bubbles to catch them and for interceptors or any pressing gate lockdown you can fit accordingly for instalocks/long points, smartbombs etc. Pretty much the only ships that have 2 second align are travel ships and they can still die easily enough.

Highsec mining corps are worthless, don't join one. If you want to mine in highsec either do it solo or join one of the many public fleets or solo orca pilots for boosts. The better option, however, is to join a large nullsec alliance with constant boosted mining fleets. As I said in >>181015719 it also lists a public chat channel. Most alliances have these which you can join to talk to people in the alliance to either ask questions about them or talk about joining. As for not giving you specific suggestions, it's because I know you far less well than you know yourself. Every large nullsec alliance has newbie-friendly corps that meets the qualifications you just listed, the main difference being their internal community. Instead of joining whichever one someone random person tells you to, you're better off looking into them yourself, seeing what they're about, and finding one which suits you.

I like FW because my time zone means I can oplex with minimal resistance, so Fw is my main income. But I'm also looking for a corp that runs a lot of small fleets, since my current corp does shit all in terms of the non-scheduled 2 fleets a week.
