Then it jumps to a cutscene in Grangold. Beelzebubs materialize expecting everyone to fear them... only for the nearby baker to advertise her bread. Then an ant girl comes up, questioning if they're loyal the Monster Lord. They bold declare no expecting a fight, only for the ant girl to approve of this. (due to Alice 15 declaring war on humanity
The Beelzebubs are freaked out and teleport to Yamatai, only to find to find Yamata no Orochi casually sitting on a nearby bench. The modern world is nothing like what they read in Selene's journals.
When you get there they're sulking and snacking at the bench, saying the current world is scary and depressing. Ilias is dead, monsters casually live in towns, human countries fight each other, and monster lords fight each other. None of this makes any sense to ancient monsters like them. They wish they had never left the ghost ship.
Then they tell Luka to take responsibility for "freeing" them into this hell and force themselves into the party.

Since they're preserved by Chaos they can't actually die from old age or wounds. So even if Luka wanted to give that guard with his entire body stripped of skin, or any of the others stuck in the walls mercy (some ARE dead) he couldn't, because Chaos keeps them alive so that they can be copied by the "system" forever.

The guard outside just repeats "システムは崩壊した" (System Collapse!) twice.

One of the scientists stuck to the wall on the first floor says "実験ハ失敗シタ" (The experiment failed).

The nurse directly to the south of him says "かみさま うまれた" (God was born).

Another guard in the hallway is being dissected alive by the system so that he can be rebuilt into something else "FS0976582:解剖後再構築 凍結" (FS0976582: Reconstruct and then freeze after dissection).

A girl that's stuck to the wall on the second floor says something like: "意識は■■■す
苦■■、■■■……".

...I don't know what the exact translation for it would be but it's pretty much along the lines of her saying that she's still conscious after all this time and that living is pain as a result of it.

Most of the dead people otherwise have error messages related as to why they were "rejected" aka killed off by the "system", like "特定ゲノム欠損:破棄" (Special Genome Defect: Discard) for one guard on the second floor.

Overall surprisingly grim stuff from TRTR. At least we know now happens to people who get sucked into in a Tartarus void. And these are just humans too. I'd imagine that the same process is probably going to be shown for how Monsters and Angels are actively transformed by Chaos into Apoptosis in Part 3.

Though I personally think the biggest fix is that they're going to adjust the recruitment rates, which is a welcome change. Can't count how many battles I went through just to recruit all of the spider girls in this chapter. So much so I honestly thought Amira's recruitment skills were doing the exact opposite for me.

As far as I remember of that scene, when I beat up Natasha, she wouldn't join because she was worried Natasha would come back and try to attack the village again. I assumed that meant I needed to have Natasha recruited (i.e. do the other path first) to get her, so I re-did the decision and helped Natasha. What she said that time was that she was still too injured to join me, and that's it. I haven't got her to join me yet, but I'm still only about halfway in the game.
