I'm pretty new and I hear about DSPStanky being one of the best Lucios around.

My scrub eyes see someone who wallrides skillfully and becomes hard to hit, puts out decent damage, has occasionally clutch boops, speed boosts a lot, BUT HIS HEALING IS RARELY ACTIVATED even when he's surrounded by 3 teamates with crit low health.
Is that the actual correct way to play lucio?

lucio is only a secondary healer

hes there for speed boosts. as long as your team can bypass shields, dive comp will win, if they can keep dodging with lucio's speed then whatever healing the other one is doing will be greatly improved.

real issue is that 85% of the playerbase will use lucio as a healer because the coordination needed to do what dpstinky does is absurd. wich is why he fails as a team player too.

when my team has something absurd like 4 DPS i usually do better with a healing lucio that a tank with sustain

Mercy gains much more SR than other heroes. She also loses significantly less SR. And because the system punishes you for hero switching, if you play Mercy for the entire match you'll optimize your gains/losses.

None of this is bait, the memes about being able to climb with Mercy from silver to diamond and even GM are true because of how broken she is. Playing Mercy is literally cheating the system. You can have a team of shitters that throw and you'd lose anywhere between 0 to 10 SR. Anyone who disagrees with my post is either a retard or someone trying to keep the Mercy freelo a secret, because high elo is full of Mercy mains that don't know how to play other heroes. Playing Mercy is like getting an ELO boosting service for free.

All it costs is your dignity. If you're cool with sacrificing that, play Mercy until you get high enough to avoid shitty players. Then play the heroes you're actually good at, because spoiler alert: Mercy is THE most braindead hero in the game. The only difficult part of playing her is relying on your teammates to protect you. But even then the amount of impact you provide JUST by picking her is unreal, regardless of how good or bad you're doing.

First, I got shot in the leg by widow because Junkrat takes a step back and stepped out of cover
The rip-tire just vanished. Nothing in the kill feed, no noises, just gone. And I was down to 0% ult charge again.

Second time I use it behind cover again, zoom round a corner and bump into reaper. Detonate it, does nothing
Reaper even looked at it, didnt even wraith form. Melee range the tire did nothing because it was blocked by a lawn mower half the size of reaper and shorter than the wheel in between them
