Well I ended up finishing my rewatch and even though it was in english it made me sort of reconfirm my love for YuYuYu. It was fun just watching it all again, the music is just so amazing. Some of the stuff could still bring a tear to my eye even with being in english. Fuu hearing Itsuki sing still hurts, along with Sonoko calling out for Wasshi. Karin going mankai is always such an experience, and it made me realize how Sonoko's manaki festival is going to hurt so damn much. I don't know I kind of didn't mind Fuu's voice and Karin wasn't bad.

Honestly I don't know. Obviously it doesn't come close to the original but I guess you could give it a shot if you just want to experience it in english. Some people was mentioning about cleaning up the doc a bit. I suggest removing the DPS calculation tab (since it's based on lv.1 stats and not particularly informative) and the old events tab. Instead, just drop a line somewhere that archives the dates and title of previous events on a different tab.

Might also consider moving the card drop table somewhere into the stages tab if needed.

So, does anything in the franchise ever address the fact that the Hero's parents knew about the effects of Mankai, but still were perfectly willing to let their children become logs? No such a thing. I could see some conflict with Sonoko and her parents and Tougou with her parents/mother as well. I don't remember exactly were it was mentioned (either Sonoko After or the 2nd VN), but apparently Tougou does not seem to have any ill will against the Washio even though they also knew. Yuuna is too nice to recent her parents and Karin probably doesn't care about her real parents that much anymore.

Yeah, Yuuna makes sense. She's not the kind who'd hold a grudge. But Tougou being 100% fine with it seems like a reach to me. I could see her not wanting to cut off all contact or something, but this revelation seems like the kind of thing that wouldn't at least cause some awkward family dinners. Doubly so in Sonoko's case, since at least Tougou got out easy with just temporary memory loss. Sonoko was a log for 2 years and, if the PSVita game is any indication, went to a pretty depressed place for a while.

If the effect of rank on ATK is 10%, and the effect on attack speed is 8%, then the effect of each increase in rank on dps is 1.1*1.08=1.19? And then add on that RankDifferenceModifier, 1.19*1.30=1.54?

I'm pretty sure that the only on-screen parent we've seen is Tougoumom, and after all the shit that's happened with Tougou I can imagine their relationship becoming strained, but this series doesn't put a lot of emphasis on parents. Karin's already distant from her parents, Fu and Itsuki are orphans and Yuuna probably wouldn't hold that kind of thing against her own parents. I guess half the parents reactions are taken for granted. Fuu and Itsuki's are dead and they are basically financially supported by the Taisha, Karin's and Karin's brother are Taisha drones so are Wasshi's, Gin's and Sonoko's. I guess we saw Tougou's mom cry but that's all. Only Yuuna's parents are really a mystery.

After the minor bind code scare last thread I made another account, got the code, deleted the user file then brought the account back. After an hour or so, I deleted the user file and recovered the account using the same code.
I forgot about it until now and once again used the exact same code successfully. Is it because it's the same device? Same ip? Or is the code just infinitely reusable until you get a new one?

The issue with a full tanky setup at the cost of DPS is you still need enough damage to kill the mobs as they come or they'll just swarm you. I'd recommend just looking at some of the successful setups posted in the thread and trying to copy them.

The heightened pace makes up for it and getting you to rank 10 is the priority. You have at most 8 seconds to stack 2x the effect anyway so just fire away. Once you get to the boss the effect actually is good for DPS considering the small fry will get in the way so faster attacks get them out of the way.

Pair her with Fuus, learn to micromanage and position your units according to the incoming vertexes.
If you see pic related incoming, move them THE FUCK out of the way or she'll melt. Itsuki/Chikage are good at attacking vertexes from the side. Works best in the middle of a -| formation or horizontal line formation.

I used leader Sr wakaba - sprint event karin, tougou -
PR sumi and sekka - natsume and finally a friend ssr sonoko - ssr itsuki. Put tougou and sekka in the backmost top and bottom rows and sonoko friend in middle second most back row. Let the sword bakas go to town in the front, spam sonokos damage cut to keep your back line intact

Just 3* E3-4H with this team and a level 60+2 SSR Sonoko friend. Managed it with 30 seconds left. SR Sonoko's healing after her hissatsu came in handy and Sekka's low gauge cost too.

Sekka on the very back column, moving as lanes as needed. The two Sonoko's on the second-to-back column and moving to block off any enemies. Wakaba just freely in the front, mostly focusing on removing reds before they reach the others.

Occasionally I had to shift a Sonoko to grab a health pot, but otherwise it was fine. Just use hissatsus as needed - no need to save them. Wakaba should be shredding stuff pretty quickly once she ranks up.

Yeah I finally got it. You're right she just kills everything with her attack speed and other buffs. I actually didn't use her hissatsu until Gemini. I didn't even get her to rank 10 she was mvp at only rank 8 at the end.
Actually my friend's SSR Sonoko was the one that was close to dying several times but my Sleeping Sonoko's heal really helped the team.
I was using Sekka's hissatsu the most to clean lanes, it's cheap and hits decently.
I even mistimed my friend Sonoko's hissatsu by using it when there was no enemy.

I noticed however a lot of people who struggle are making the mistake of keeping your yuushas in the front. Most of my battle bar leaving wakaba in the second to front row was moving them to the side of attack vertexes so backrow sekka will clear them without the others taking too much damage

Generally speaking, keeping your yuushas in the back makes micromanaging them through bumrushes a bit easier since your shooters wear them down before they make contact. Once you get through the worst of it, that's where you move em up to catch up on the timer since projectile travel distance does matter.

I'm actually really glad they made this event so "easy". I absolutely hated having to grind for currency in events for other mobage. This event is easily completable, if by complete you mean getting at least one copy of the event exclusive units. The event points come in quick from just 3* as many stages as you can which isn't very hard until the last map. 3* the entire event on the other hand I would not describe as easy. I think there is a bit of a challenge and you still need the right setup and probably a party with at least 2 3 flower yuushas. Overall I've very much enjoyed this event, you don't need to obsessively play to use up some event exclusive energy like other mobage do.

After spending hours trying to 3* N5-4H and clicking through countless pages looking for Sonokos I have uncovered the following details about your friends.

When you use a friend in battle, for a number of stages afterwards that friend will no longer appear as an option. Exactly how long it takes for them to reappear, and whether or not you can just quickly do some cheap low-stamina stage a bunch of times to bring them back, is unclear. However, if you fail the battle the friends list will not reset. This means the friend you just used will still appear, while other friends you've recently used will not reappear.

Thus if the perfect friend is available for a mission you're trying repeatedly to 3*, do NOT win it with <3 stars, as it will kill your friend and you'll have to wait for them to come back again. Retire as soon as someone dies or the time limit expires and you can keep relying on them to do all the work for you.

As a side note, I feel like I haven't really earned a lot of these 3-stars when I didn't actually do anything to get them except have a friend who plays this game too much.

I'm getting real sick of these bosses with invincible shields at low HP bullshit having so many health bars. I have a 4 Flower Sonoko at level 86 and level 16 special. She still takes off not even half the HP of the H4-5HM boss, when getting color advantage.

You can't burn down the endgame bosses like this fast enough without specials, but it takes the strongest specials, 3-4 meter, to knock em to the next bar, and if they have 3+ HP bars, forget about it. The weak specials, which are usually 2 meter, can't take their HP down to the next bar, even after they hit the damage reduction threshold. They need to make that threshold at lower HP or something.

I'd wager that H5-5H will be possible to 3*
with the new Natsume SSR + SR Sekka and their episode skill much like how Yellow Yuuna helped a lot of people 3* Y7-5H. Or possibly with mutliple 4 flower SSRs. Two lv 99 Karins (one from a friend) and at least one more unit including a 4 flower SSR like Wakaba, Takashima, or Natsume just might be enough.

There are stages like H5-5H and ShiUYu's HM bosses that really seem impossible to 3* without having a perfect set up for the level. As of now I'm at 726/750 stars out of all the stars available from the current story modes and the sturdiness of the bosses in ShiUYu, especially those with shields, makes 3* an impossible task. I have yet to 4 flower my Itsuki but I'm pretty sure ShiUYu's HM can't be reliably 3-starred (especially chapter 2) until Shiratori's SSR comes out.

Having a hard time deciding whether to 4-flower Karin or Wakaba.
Wakaba has more damage and a stronger hissatsu, a better leader skill for blue or yellow parties and a better passive. But Karin has more attack speed (better for critting), more health, a better hissatsu radius and a better leader skill for other colours or multicolour parties. They're both really strong and I'm pretty torn as to who to pick. Leaning towards Wakaba at the moment because her better DPS makes her more suited for 3*ing stuff which is what I'm struggling with right now.

Udon and botamochi are great, but coins are an absolutely horrible choice in comparison even if you're in dire need of them. 6 botamochi will net you 120 stamina (assuming you only have 20 max stamina, most people probably have way more), which is enough to clear 10 12 stamina stages, and those will give you a lot more loot than just a measly 60000 coins. The fact that botamochi directly trades for tier 3 crystals makes them even more valuable, but we only learned that after most people already voted.

I assume the reason why we got the udon as a bonus was to prevent the butthurt that would ensue if we had gotten the worst present.

Which stage gives the most points?

Apparently you can get 3 gold drops on D3-5.

Is HanaYui H5-5 even supposed to be beatable yet? Only viable strategy I can come up with is to keep two SSR Sonocchis handy to reduce the laser flood damage or to knock down a life bar before it fires but I think I only got it down as far as the second life bar before it wiped out all my Yuushas.

Just felt like sharing my setup for farming the event since I came up with it to beat D3-5 but saw it three star E3-5H ever so easily.

SR Blue Sekka turned out to be very useful and she doesn't have SR Purple's speed debuff on using her hissatsu. It's not set up for it here but between her mobility, S- crit, SR Natsume's and the SR fatcat fairy gauge on crit ability, she's the go to shooter for a steady stream of hissatsus. The binding ability of her hissatsu is great for your shooters too since it means you don't need a melee yuusha to block the boss and you can push it back into place with your other yuusha hissatsus.

Averaging 2.5k here for it. Maybe going with low crit yuushas is the way to go since you'll have more chances for drops without the crit bonus.

What causes enemies to be stunned exactly?

You can get 4 gold drops, actually. I've been grinding on D3-5s for the past week and 4 drops comes out every once in a while, maybe 1 out of every 7 times?

As for H5-5H, yes it's beatable, but I doubt anyone can 3* it without SSR Natsume + SR Sekka and their episode skill.

Which basically means that you should retry the stage until you get 4, since it won't cost you any Shinju power? Or does the 4th one drop from the boss?

Taking into account the time it takes to complete D3-5 and the low probability of 4 gold drops, it's not really worth it to keep retreating until you get 4. Especially since you don't know whether the 4th drop is coming until you kill the last few vertex before/after the boss arrives. You'd likely be wasting 15 minutes just to get 4 gold drops once. I'd say it's only worth it to retreat any time you reach the boss and still only have 2 gold drops, because it appears the range of gold drops is 2~4 for D3-5. And I don't think I've ever seen the boss drop a gold box, but then again I have get to 3* any D3-5 and maybe it only can drop a gold box if you finish within the time limit.

Anyone else kind of frustrated about the reward shit they pulled? The last 2 days of the event, and they suddenly announce rewards go up by an extra 100k points or so.
