With the welfare policy setting minimum social spending for parties, and making parties beyond the 3 starting ones more varied, I moved for the changes in Health Care and Education reforms.

All bonuses were halved, and the other half comes if these sectors are properly funded. Witch each passing reform, the minimum funding increases (by 10%) until the last reforms, which require both a 50% funding at least.
This means that neglecting spending in these sectors will still net a base bonus, that can be doubled with the proper funding.

I've been considering a small bonus for perfect education/administration funding, maybe including social funding, with a small pop growth and education bonus associated with it.
That way there's some incentive to focus more on spending money on improving your pops lives and having your nation flourish.

The other thing tackled was the problem that at high literacy, you could just cut all education funding and nothing would happen, ever. Literacy would always grow, albeit slowly, but there were no consequences.

If you want an easy, historically accurate way to nerf Germany you should consider reducing the life rating in all eastern provinces, outside Danzig, Koenigsberg and Stettin, to 35. Eventually you could do the whole of Germany, with (in general) the Northern regions having around 36-37 LR, Eastern Germany 35, Southern Germany 38-40, and the Rhineland/West 40-45.

Naval:
Opponents destroyer is likely going back to his port for repairs. I should be able to shell his land units un opposed.

The West:The Infantry Unit in the North regaining its efficency after being beaten down to 4 strength. I lost an engineering unit. But my advance has made him pull his infantry back from advancing on the foothills of the mountain. My goal is to take the city objective 3 squares away, within 3 turns. In general all of his units have poor efficiency from taking artillery fire while advancing.


The East: No Casualties. however, I did force a engineering unit to retreat by widdling it down to 3 strength. My enemies unit efficency is a bit better on this side of the mountains, but my units (aside from the Marines) are all more organized, and ready to fight than his units. My goal is to push the enemy south of the mountains. Due to his fortress artillery I don't think I will advance on any objectives on this side of the map until I take the one in the West.

Johan is an Autist.

He does not like how Paradox is dealing with their games. He doesn't like the DLC policy, he doesn't like the casualization, he doesn't like the SWEDEN YES-tier intrusions to his historical simulators.

And yes, he privately laments on not making the games more like simulators and less like platforms for easy fun and DLC.

He's a sub-par male specimen due to his physical health, but he likes his games. He just can't do anything but go with the company's flow, he is silenced and basically acts as a lunch-time bug-tester and balancer, a face of Paradox PR and a testemant to past age of Paradox GS games.

He still occasionally plays EU2 and his earlier games, that is more we can say about the newer, more 'progressive' employees at the company.

Johan is an Autist.

He was the creative designer on Stellaris, nothing more. He had a more prominent role in EU4 as the lead for Game Design, but was heavily constrained by release schedule and Wester (CEO) influencing the development to create a more profitable platform for DLC and easy fun. Johan had an even bigger role in the development of CK2 as it's Producer for it's initial development back in 2012, and less constrained by a still transient Wester who had not discovered the perfect formula for profit. CK2, at the time, was an 'okay' game that many people could have seen being improved to be better than CK1, and more.

CK2's DLC was not developed in any way by Johan, and look at the game now.

Games previous to CK2 are either acceptable or more high up there in autistry, while Paradox was still a small (sub-40 employees) yet growing company and Johan still had a voice that was listened to.

Alright, I'm going to play a fairly Klein Germaniums game, no overseas expansion, no real power projection, my goals will be to assure my borders like pic related.
