I just got done test driving WAR to 60 in PotD and man, those combo finishers are so goddamn boring. They're all just swinging the axe three times.

Compare that to PLD having a fancy lightshow on ALL their finishers and DRK getting to do darkness blasts with power slash and a cool uppercut with Souleater.

there is a high chance the healer was just garbage, the dps weren't killing fast enough, or your pulls are stupid for your ilevel

I don't know, I really love how it plays, and I think it gets a lot better and more fun as it levels up. Pre-50 though is horrible awful garbage where your mana doesn't even feel like it's worth using since you don't have Redoublement or Moulinet, and then from 50-70 there's a ton of cool skills that it sucks not to have when you're doing leveling dungeons.

Verflare/Verholy especially, now when I have to do shit sync'd anything below 68 the entire class just feels like it doesn't have the gigantic high point of using them and it isn't as satisfying.

I happen to like MCH quite a bit, the whole heat system is neat and reminds me of gunlance in monster hunter but it needs like a heat locking move or buffs to overheating/auto gausebarrel after it coolsdown. Making 1 fuck up with it ends up really killing the fun though

They wanted a new race for the new expansion as per MMO tradition.

They didnt have time to flesh them out in-game but they are fleshed out in official text lore. They simply put the goal ahead of the process.
But hey now you get to visit their place of origin which is more than you can say for every other race in the game. They got multiple zones that are dedicated to just fleshing out their race. What more do you want?

So for the NIN that have not moved to SAM how is the class 61-70? Is it bad/boring? Cause while leveling my main job up i never ran into one. So are they bad now? It was my main dps job to use when i was not healing.
