I don't like that build because there's no real reason for Chap to be in it; I really think Cleric 2 Diev 3 Miko Taoist is a lot better for supporting. People don't talk about stats, skills, and items because those systems are super straightforward; SPR for summoner/priests, Full Int for non summoner wizards, dex depending on ping and then strength for phys, and Con for full support/pvp memers.

If you're going priest 1 you max res/blessing, you'll only have the option between points in monstrance or aspersion, I just maxed it because I don't want to bother with carrying another item for casting, and because if I ever want aspersion I just go to a pardoner.

What do you think about this exploit? It is true? I don't even want to know how it works since I never wanted to keep frying my head over late game numbers but that seems like a pretty big deal that could shape the economy of the game.

I've seen other exploits but they don't affect me personally since I'm not competing in guilds or worldbosses but this one, if it is true, will affect anyone who play this game.

Latest kTest gimped pyros even more sadly. Limiting fireballs out is a very large annoyance, same thing with owls to be honest.

Sure Miko+Owl+Chrono would have been wild, but that's al ot of investment and limiting it at 5 is WAY too harsh. Well I think it's a synergy thing or something.

Let's take SR3 for example, it doesn't have particularly 'good' synergy with anything, it's mainly just filler.
Archer2 is good because of crit rate, Archer 3 isn't going to help much more there. Oblique until Limacon:Spread won't help because of OH on it now.
Out of R2 choices QS doesn't do shit once you hit SR3, literally dead weight 3 circles
Ranger3 is okay but not amazing, you gain 20% damage which is good buti t's 10/25s, annoying. You gain a little AoE, but who cares when you're running around with Limacon.
R3:
Hunter isn't even possible really.
Sapper means dismounting means uncasting Limacon, so that's also a no.

Out of the 5 choices ofthings you can 3 circle leading into SR, 1 is actually helpful in the slightest, the others are dead weight, and one is great at 2C but useless past that, and you can get that second circle without the other 3.

Mindyou other R6/R7 are a bit more flexible. Falconer is very flexible, Hackapell is quite flexible. Musketeer is. Canonneer has some nice synergy which makes it a little less flexible but that's a good thing. Mergen clearly won't work with 1H classes, but that's also fine.

OK, I'm Hoplite 3, but that's more for Stabbing, Finestra and definitely not for the ultra nerfed throw and long stride. How does it fix any problem? Long Stride knocks everything back, Spear Throw was spammed on top of you so you didn't need to pick the spear up or bother mobbing them again, which is already a symptom of having 5 fucking overheat.

Is it for PvP? Really sounds like something people would go nuts about, but for PvE it's something I really don't care.

I treat MMO's the same. I don't go too try hard (aka pay2win), but I use everything in my power to move forward. 6 to 8 hours a day on a game is nothing to me, but the problem with TOS is that it doesn't present new challenges. Like a simulation game / RTS game / war strategy game would. It presents the same mundane task every day, over and over again. Biggest challenge in TOS for me is dealing with people, who act and talk like NPCs.

Extremes are always bad. Leveling to max in 300 days isn't a sense of progression either, it'd be a game of nothing, just as some would say being maxed is a game of nothing. And both are easily managed by choosing your own gameplay pace.

It's subjective what your idea of progression can be, but you do not gain anything in ToS at all from staying one level for a long time. The faster you level the more skill points you unlock and have access to stronger weapons and dungeons.

For comparison, shortly after the game launched, levels 220+ were only grinding over very long periods of time, and levels 130-180 could be a dead stop for players who mismanaged exp. The majority of people hated this, so IMC eventually added more quests, and later reordered dungeons.

Compensation and new account bonuses greatly upset the balance, but the sidekick event wouldn't be too bad normally.

So my friend convinced me to try ToS. I did play to about 100 on release but the games performance was just too shitty, and being stuck on a non pre purchase or whatever it was.called server meant plagued with bots.


Coming back I got the new player pack thing and after a few days now I'm 250ish and it's just like, what the point. The dungeons are not challenging yet they lock you out for only two runs a day, why?
Why not just make a guaranteed cube only 2x a day or something then make the next cubes be at like 20% drop so it averages out at about one per group.
Going back to questing feels like an entire waste of time, there's nothing afaik I can work towards of any significance. Don't feel the incentive to farm because I'm still locked out of trading Post for a few days anyway.

Better just log off and wait for my dungeon reset to make the most of my boots right?

Endgame dungeons are where people catch up in pace and can run into others often enough to get to know them well. Early R8's difficulty was actually enough to encourage random parties, but IMC catered to solo players because again, that's how the MMO market is now.

TOS already missed that boat when they caved on the 3 month EA plan and then didn't have anything for 50k concurrent players to buy when the game opened. The remaining base needs something to do before they leave too.

Electrocute in ET gains 1 extra target with divine might and will soon have 2 overcharges.

Meteor level 10 is a giant area and will also have 2 overcharges in the future.

Quick cast is bugged in our game as it does not increase the cast time of the actual skill levels, just the cast bar right now (which is just graphical), so don't believe anons telling you here that it's not worth maxing because it "takes too long". They are idiots.

It helps when you're one of the primary DPS on the check floors in ET as well as the boss floors. Even with good passing you're going to have all of your skills on cooldown at points and EB is great filler. It also helps your DPS against saalus bosses.

Lethargy makes a very small difference. I honestly don't notice a difference between 4 and like, 10.

If you're in the 250 range you can try to farm for armor in the 220 Hunting Ground. Depends on class really, some of these sets can fetch a good price in the market because they have very good bonus stats.

Once you get to 270 you can start farming the HG in Grynas Hills for 270+ sets and weapons.
These weapons are good enough to carry you through most things until you want to invest on Practonium 315 gear.

The disparity between leveling types and money that can be made at higher levels, as well as the Pract quest means that if you are grinding or questing you will take a lot LOT longer to get to 317 than if you are dungeon running. The fact that you can 317 a character in a day with some of these recent events is absurd.

If we're talking a week with all sorts of stacked buffs that's acceptable, but a day is a bit much.

The art assets are wasted if there's no reason to come back to lower level areas other than a scant few like BB farming (which isn't even profitable right now really)
