The story gives you better XP, which is pretty useful for getting the absolute most AP out of every level up.

Any time you use a ticket to level up, you're losing a lot of AP. So it becomes pretty important to manage them properly.

You can only hold a max of 2x your current max AP.

No. It depends on your level and such, but you'll generally get around 70-90 kills during a clean. At my rank, that's tripled, so I get 220 AP from a standard clear. My maximum right now is 260, if I hit a level up I'd get an additional ~130 AP, wasting 90 AP for no reason.

Even when I was just before the cutoff for a triple, I was getting 150 AP, which combined with the 125 AP or so I'd get for a level up, leaves me with a loss of 25 AP or so in a best case scenario.

The only time you want to get a level up from cleaning is if your free cleaning is up, and if you waiting long enough to regen enough AP to level up normally, you'd mess up your cycles. The worst thing you can do is miss a free cleaning by 5-6 hours because it lands in the middle of the night when you're asleep.

The only true waste is using gems to refill AP before you reach the rank and AP cap.

The 45 tier is objectively worse for weapon XP farming, an S rank is only 3.4 times better than an A rank (5500 vs 1600).

At worst, you get 3 A ranks vs 1 S 1 A, or 4.4 A ranks. That's 1.5 times the AP cost for 1.4 times the EXP. At a theoretical best, you're looking at 4 A vs 2S 1A (8A), but I've only received a double S one time, it's extremely rare. Meanwhile 4A drop 30 AP runs happen half the time, and are almost as good as what you'll get in the vast majority of 45 AP runs.

The one consideration is cost, but money isn't really an issue if you aren't stupid, so it's just straight up better to run the 30 AP tier. Plus, the runs are a lot quicker so you can fit more in.

I suppose, at 5k an item it's a little harsh. I haven't bothered running the money event yet because I'm still up over a million. My envelope calculations put the cost of using A ranks on Ls at somewhere around 16-19k a run, which is higher than the estimated worth of 15 AP, which is around 7.5k from weapon EXP. It'd be interesting to see how much money you get on average from the money event in each AP bracket.

In Co-op when you select a quest and can pick your loadout if you pick to create a new one then hit back it sets me to the exp dungeon quest.

Yeah I just finished getting enough exp drops to finish this L weapon. I tried reseting the game to see if it went away and it doesn't. Also decided to try locking in another quest and it did lock me to that. People were also able to join my games. Going to try it again next exp dungeon
