I never played it, so I assume the optional fucking is as obscure as Dragon Knight 3/Knights of Xentar where if you go to a place/talk to a certain person, you'll instantly rewarded with H scene out of nowhere with no option to refuse. I might consider getting the remake on DS though, because at least I wouldn't have any worry stumbling to H scene with other girls.

My personal take on why you so often have protags in fantasy setting fucking almost everything with hole is that them often being RPGs they are long as fuck so having protag only fucking one girl over fairly long period of time would really spread the H thinly in the game and make the player look something else. and the fantasy societies being more accepting of the harem situations

I really dig Eushully's Dir Lifina world. It has so much potential yet not often Eushully likes to utilize it well.
From more recent games Kamidori, Sankai Rhapsody(Squandered potential) was especially meh in that sense. Madou on the other hand did really well to portray the different countries in the region and introduced new aspects to the story like the fast developing Magitech and its main exporting country Melkia. Had they all cooperated and succeeded in perfecting Farakara. Or had some kind of compromise to advance their Madou technology on a whole new level you would've had another great war on your hands against the gods and their temples that act like pacifiers and sort of a police force. It seems like having the humans distance themselves from the gods is more and more inevitable with how fast its spreading. Like in Amayui it kinda further builds up on that and introduces the actual material(Some kind of blue lead) which is used to make 魔鉛 something like a core used in any Magitech technology. If some kind of bandit managed to get his hands on just imagine how widespread it is now.

Watch this video. Replace CSGO skins with Waifu cards, and you basically have a similar mindset. Basically. Mobage can be a bit different in that there's a kind of obsession surrounding the characters and going above-and-beyond to collect their cards. Fate GO is a great example of this kind of cancer, with tons of derivatives of Sabers that you can waste hours upon hours trying to get. And the people who waste their time and money going after that kind of thing are either obsessed with waifu, or are just going after a rare card to stroke their internet ego in a brief moment of satisfaction.

It's the same kind of logic that applies to a lot of these online games, be it MMORPGs or an FPS with a shit ton of micro-transactions.

That's where you feed those guys monsters you capture to get more stats, resistances, new skills etc. You need specific types of monsters for each like Oni for HP bonuses, Giants for physical resist ,female or male types for others etc. When you right click the unit their info is written there.

You can capture almost anything but bosses with either Fia's special skill(She has 2 one for normal monsters and one for those guys in your pic) or by adding the skill to anyone by equipping the rope(ロープ) you make at your workshop. You can also make an item that leaves their HP to 1 so that you can finish it off with a capture attack.

The buildings can give additional bonuses depending on the type. Like some pieces(Green houses) will have three squares lined up in their info bar so if you make three of them line up like that you get a small dodge bonus for all your characters as long as you maintain the formation in the castle.

Honestly anon I don't suggest playing without understanding a thing you'll loose on a lot of stuff both gameplay and character interactionwise.

Dir Lifyna is nice in theory, but in practice it's so open and undefined that it just doesn't feel that interesting.
There's no definition of which gods there are, there's just an undefined amount of them. So out of nowhere Eushully can just decide "yeah we're introducing 340 more gods now in this game all your units are gods". And there's no delineation of where the countries are in most of the world, so they can just introduce new stuff all the time. Basically most of the setting isn't defined at all, which makes it hard to care much about the setting, because most of it is a mystery.

Don't get me wrong, I understand that they leave it open ended because it lets them make new games more easily. But if you're going to have a shared universe, it should actually be shared, you know? Some of their games take place so far away that they barely have anything in common. And it's not like established characters cross over between series that much except as cameos or in DLC.

Contrast that to Alicesoft's ルドラサウム世界 and it's like night and day. They have established gods and there's a limit on their number. The story of the world is completely defined all the way from the earliest mists of prehistory. There are consistent characters and systems that are in use everywhere. It's just much more well-defined, and also, it's much smaller, which means there's less empty void space. But because of the nature of a game this doesn't matter, they can always place new towns or dungeons or whatever in certain areas that are nominally empty, it's just that those areas are also part of a predefined country or zone. Whereas in Dir Lifyna Eushully makes up a brand new country every game. So it's hard to really care about the setting when the setting is completely open-ended.

Oh, and another thing: That's just the Raulbach continent you posted. There's an entire other continent, and there may be even more of them across various oceans. Again, open-ended as hell.

Original is fully translated, GOLD has only UI patch.
Original has few scenes per girl (Most of them just one CG), GOLD has heroines missing H-scenes but i general more character have H-scenes (This time CGs have variations).
Story is better in the original but as far as harem themed games goes GOLD is more waifu centric (Since the main heroines are not trying to hog the MC for themselves in GOLD unlike the original, In fact Gold main heroine is the one pushing for the harem).
Gameplay wise GOLD is very superior. Mages are no longer support characters and now you can equip three items per character for better character customization).
GOLD has a better hard mode were you cant end turns to get money since if you do (Witouth taking at least one action point) an enemy impossible to defeat (Until you are near the end of the game) attacks you and you lose more than half your money funds if he beats you.

Her route's not nearly as bad as I remembered it being. I'm not really into exhibitionism so the scenes aren't that hot to me (kinda like how I got tired of every late-game Mifuyu scene being built around milk spraying) but translating them isn't the absolutely miserable experience I expected it to be, mainly cause her dialogue is fun.
Honestly wish I had just buckled up and tried doing her route before saying anything now that I've realized I was just exaggerating her flaws in my memory. Oh well, mistakes will be made.
