Basically, within the setting, any being that opposed evil is Demonbane. Since it's a multiverse, this means that at least one alternate version of any being in existence is Demonbane.

The downside of infinite possibilities, is that one of those possibilities will do the one thing you aren't supposed to: Kill Azathoth.

A Demonbane called the Vortex Buster did exactly that, and the whole multiverse popped. Every other Demonbane instantly perished, and existence was reduced to Vortex Buster Demonbane, the shattered shards of Azathoth and Yog-Sothoth, who was desperately trying to fix shit.

He/she/it succeeds in doing so, creating a universe egg for Azathoth to grow in. This draws the attention of the Vortex Buster, who begins making his way towards the egg, intent on destroying it.

And that's where the setting stands right now.

Well just finished Itsuwari no Kame. Maybe it's because the first has a special place in my heart but the sequel doesn't live up to the first. It's fine as an introduction game but it wasn't amazing like i hoped. Probably doesn't help that i watched the anime and was spoiled on the ending of the 3rd game.

I think translations going official would be a good thing though. The original company gets money for their hard work, and it supports future official localizations that might not happen with only fan translations. There's only a few /ourguys/ to go around after all. Doing it for a hobby isn't really sustainable and I wouldn't be surprised for them to get burned out at the rate they're working.

It's not like the translation costing money would matter for the people that would pirate it anyway.

The main problem is just that it introduces large delays. Then again, most fan TLs take years to complete anyway. Irru and Trip are a rare exception.

Marika's pregnancy scene comes close to being my least favourite scene in the entire game, hope you don't end up disappointed by it. Heh. And thanks.

MK4 is pretty good but it's so huge it's unlikely I'll ever translate it. As I recall it's like 55k lines long. I would much rather translate 2 normal length games in the same time (Two other games I'm looking at are around 27,000~ lines in length). Additionally, every girl is pretty hot and nice but Maki is the only girl I actually love a lot, whereas in MK3, SM, and Ura Kyoushi I'm really fond of the entire cast more or less.

Why are people talking about Libra's translation being bad? If anything it seems more like an editing problem. Complaining about technically correct but stilted English is different from a translation being outright wrong.
