Probably Crit mostly. I don't know how much Det confers a 1% damage bonus, or how much SpS confers a 0.01s cast speed reduction, so if you figure that out you can determine whether it is better to meld Det or SpS in gear pieces that are maxed on crit.

Det is trash, don't meld det at all mainly if you're a WHM. Direct hit is ok ish but crit is better and you don't get direct hits on healing.

Do you know the value of Det? They mentioned in the patch notes that they adjusted it.

And I don't really see the value of melding Piety when there's already so much on the gear. I mean "full" 310 right and left (with 300 ring) has 1200 Piety for WHM. The WHM Susano weapon has a whopping ~250 Piety on it and the Lakshmi ring has 110ish, so if you were using both of those with the rest of the 310 stuff you'd have over 1600 Piety with food. I understand it's very valuable for progression but melding another 100 points of it just seems like a waste.

And no healer gear has direct hit, so unless you put Heavens Eye VIs in every slot I don't really see you deriving much benefit from it.

Yes, crit has the highest returns for WHM (assize cd reduction trait) and SCH (crit adlo). AST doesn't get a direct benefit from it but it works. Higher crit also higher dps.

Piety is great for classes that get mp returns based on their total MP, aka SCH and WHM.

Spellspeed increases dot damage and casts per min that you get so once again it works out. Returns are really low though, you might just see +10 dmg per tick and +1-2 casts per min.

Direct hit mini crit chance, from what i've parsed, has lower chance to happen than actual crits so if you're going to meld meld crit instead.

Det increases dps and heal but by such low values that it's by far one of the worst stats. It supposedly got buffed with 4.0 but no actual stats are out yet.

I'll grant you this for single targets. It's exclussively for situations with more than 2 enemies but here's a thing. It costs WAR at least 4 GCDs to be able to do a Steel Cyclone for 200 damage. It takes you 4 GCD to cover the cost of a DA+DP which is 240 damage. Two Soul Siphons without the combo finisher.

DRK is in a really good spot now and only needs minor tweaks not an overhaul because people are playing it at level 60 in old content and are complaining about it like little bitches.

BP + Salted Earth should give you more than enough blackblood to mix AD with Quietus for good damage and sustain.

Samurai is kind of boring until 62 and the trait to get more Kenki. After that it gets to be quite involved. Probably more button pushing and meter watching than people want to do. It's not rocket surgery to play, but more involved than most classes.

RDM is just easier, flashy, and fun.

SAM is good, it has fat fucking dps. But people are worried that it'll be a rerun of HW monk.

Even now, on sss tests its only coming out 200-250 or so ahead of other dps. Which definitely does not outweigh the utility that other jobs bring to the table.

Knowing that it is essentially monk 2.0, people are going to avoid it unless it gets changed.

The sustain of AD isn't that big of a deal if you're not doing huge pulls to benefit from it. There's no reason to do a DA+AD if you're tanking 3 enemies unless your healer is bad.

Two AD = Two GCDs, 240 damage, Same mana cost as one DA.

One Quietus + One GCD, 210 damage, costs one DA otherwise it's 160 damage.
