What positioning does Mercy practice? She doesn't need line of sight to res. She doesn't need to actually move across the ground to heal her teammates because she can fly back and forth between them on one of the tiniest CDs in the game. She heals herself automatically so she doesn't have to manage her own healthbar. Mercy is completely braindead, that's why 12 year olds and girls play her.

She can bendy-beam damage boost and heal from behind a corner and two barriers with a partywide invincible res that doesn't require LoS and charges in less than a minute, she can fly to the nearest tank/dps, and start regenerating. You basically have to take her by surprise and kill her within 1 second or have a Widow headshot her.

She needs a rework because she is the highest reward character for so little effort and skill.

OW is being balanced as though they're going to stop at 25 heroes, theyre making drastic changes to appeal to that tiny roster, while still having heroes that basically don't have direct counters or things to diurectly counter yet

Why does Blizzard insist on nerfing heroes for being "too good in skilled hands" like Ana and McCree? Shit like this leads to Mercy's current state because why the fuck would anyone pick Ana when Mercy is significantly easier to play for almost the same impact? Yes you lose out on the utility Ana offers but it's really not worth it. There's really no reason to play McCree over 76 either because it's just so much easier to get consistent dps as 76.
