To KBD your inputs need to be like this

then you need to press db, b then go into neutral then b, db, b, n
So it should look like

The tricky part is going from back into neutral then into back again but as long as you practice and make sure you input the correct commands you should be fine

I found myself occasionally getting stuck on some moves like a crouch dash and accidentally full-crouching with the DS4, whereas with the FC I can just roll it through the qcf easily.

The best way to stop getting angry is to immediately disengage from what's making you angry, if that's possible. Tune out negativity; if it's tekken, then just stop playing and relax. Surround yourself with positiveness and avoid anything that could trigger further frustration. Some examples of relaxing is listening to soothing music, taking a nice bath or shower, or talking with a friend, spouse, or maybe a pet! If your anger is simply immediate, then immediate relief is what you need. One tekken suggestion is to watch high-level matches of your character and take in knowledge (that's what I do sometimes).

However, if you're angry about personal/longlasting issues, then you need something a bit more deeper and sustaining.

Plenty. qcf4 (the cartwheel thing in CD) is a good keepout move cancelled into ~db when you correctly space it to hit or whiff. You'll see Korean players use it often. b2,2,3 or b2,2,1+2 is a mid/low mixup that is especially effective at low level. 4,1 is a good way to start BT pressure as is db2, her fastest mid. 3,3 jails. d/b4 is a chunky mid and d3 is a much faster and less risky one. b+1 is a plus on block move. Besides the aforementioned moves, I like to use df1, b4,4 and f2,3 if people are ducking too often.

When you do combos that require ff4 or ff3, just buffer the first forward input by holding it at the end of the previous move (typically a f1) and input the f+4 or f+3 when the recovery of the last move ends.

I am a King main and I started learning Lars of all people yesterday. Holy shit do my hands hurt. I feel like I have wires crossed in my brain whenever I try to do his combos online too. new player here, I picked kazuya as my main because he looks dope af (i played a little lars in t6 but t7 might as well be my first tekken game)

all i've been doing so far is trying to practice movement and mainly punishes. ducking stuff and punishing with twin pistons, the more unsafe stuff with ws2, creating space and whiff punishing with b1,2 or an electric if im feeling good about it. i try to create pressure with jabs, ff+3 (max range), ff+4 (max range), f+4 and get the CH by doing df+2 after. mix them up on oki with ff+3, hellsweep, d/b+3, uf+4 or just blocking/trying to low parry the low.

i have a lot of trouble in 1.5 - 2.5 character space especially when the other player is defensive, doesn't make mistakes i can reliably punish with and has good pokes to keep me out. 90% of the time i lose due to execution errors, unfamiliarity with the opponent, and being forced to play more aggressive and take bigger risks.

what should i be focusing on (other than the obvious learning the matchups/strings) to open people up at that range? f+3 max range seems good and i dont use it enough.

U can pop up electrics as a barrier if they're coming to u, you can dash electric if they're side stepping, and the best option especially if they're playing defensive is just wave dash in their face for a 50/50
