I think guru has finally kicked the bucket in terms of usefulness, either hi rez dramatically changed the way MM works or the numbers have gotten so inflated they're borderline useless. Look at both of these games, It looks incredibly inflated due the the parties right? Well the actual case is in the left I'm actually one of the lowest MyPaladins elo in that match and in the second I'm only about 10-20 points above everyone else at best. It looks like on guru that I'm being thrown into miserable games but the actual numbers show I'm right where I belong. Although both these were very easy games so I'm still not entirely sure, I'm checking more games its all shows a similar trend.

Although matchmaking has been far quicker on this patch then it has for the last few months when I've been past 2500, it was normally 5-10 minutes to get a match but I haven't waited longer then 60 seconds for a game since the patch hit. Been in a lot of Onslaught but its been a pretty even ratio with siege.

Needs more testing but shit is deffinately weird. Also if you're on a losing streak don't worry to much, last week I was having like 30% winrates but I'm back to winning most now, its just how trends go.

Every time I look at Makoa's kit I think "This should be my favorite character." Then I go to play him, and no matter how well I do he still feels clunky. I guess it makes sense for him to have sluggish animations since he's a giant fucking turtle, but it just feels so unsatisfying.

It also doesn't help that playing him optimally usually involves pussyfooting around walls and doors waiting for a good reach-around anchor, and then backing out whenever you get pressured because he has balls for survivability.

I just want to be able to play him hyper-aggressively, is that too much to ask?

I hate playing as him, I hate playing against him, I hate how when I get a teammate who has him it's almost 100% guaranteed that he's going to steal every one of my kills while standing halfway across the map. It's the mandatory deathmatch mode where they pretend it's not TDM by adding an objective. It's always popular because it doesn't require as much knowledge or communication to do well. In Siege you need to play the objective to win and you could technically win with no one getting a kill; in Onslaught you can just kill people mindlessly and you're earning points for the team.

Its mindless killing and its good for practicing raw mechanics of champions. I've been using it for practicing shit I'm bad at like Cassie and Andy. People are total cockmunchers in it though, generally siege has minimal cry babies but majority of onslaught games have someone mad about something. Depends on my mood really, I'm the type that mostly fills in every game since my character pool is deep but those games I actually want to play someone specificI rarely don't get it. And you can't limit role picks, that would be stupid as shit. The only time SE is worth taking is being against a heavy shield comp like Torvald/Nando and that is it. Any other time its a complete waste, you can just take Blast flower and wrecker and do the same thing except it not on a 15 second cool down. I don't even thing Scorn is worth taking on most maps since reducing the fuse time actually lowers the area denial potential which is all the ability is good for. The people you kill with seedlings would have died regardless if they would have died to them at all where Blastflower gives you the ability to out duel most of the roster if you play your flutters right.

I was expecting HiRez to nerf Blastflower since its so strong but since most people are dog shit at Willo/she's extremely difficult to play vs good players it probably won't be.

There are a load of things that make Pip's healing potion so unreliable that I hardly ever play him unless I'm intentionally going flank Pip.

As >>180410071 mentioned, pressing Q again makes the potion detonate mid-flight. In theory, this adds to the heal's utility and lets you do crazy bullshit like heal around corners; in practice, you end up busting in your face during critical moments.

The projectile also has a huge af hitbox, so it easily clips pieces of terrain that you'd swear it was nowhere near and, again, detonates mid-flight. I'd not be at all surprised if it treats barrier shields like Fernando's similarly.

Finally, there's the all-too-common problem of just lagging face first into your own potion. This is similar to the issue that Androxus had with using Reversal while moving backwards. If your latency isn't great and you're moving forward when you hit Q, the game will register you essentially chucking the potion into yourself as you momentarily occupy the same place.

Constantly heal people, use your Q effectively, hit your stuns (he is the only one you can buy deft hands on and have it not be a waste of credits), get used to the arch of his LMB and out duel people/hitting people above your. Skye for example you can out duel assuming she doesn't get the jump on you but with proper Slithering and Q you can still win the fight.

He is easily one of the hardest champions to play effectively but the reward is the highest as well. There is a reason the only two supports played on tournament level is Snake and Seris. Not sure what build you're using but try something like this, Possession helps a ton and you can reduce Eerie Presence as you get better at hitting the heal. Ripen Gourd is his best Legendary hands down unless you know you can trust your team for Spirits Chosen (Wekonos Wrath is one of the worst in the game, don't waste your essence). If you decide to run Snake Pit never go past Deft Hand 2 since that is the reload cap (someone correct me if I'm wrong, I don't run it myself.).

He also has one of the best ultimates in the game, you can save teammates, yourself or flat out win rounds using it when the cart is near the cap point or during overtime if you use it on top of the objective. You can pre detonate the ult by hitting E a second time as it flies through the air. Some reason this info isn't in the client like Pips healing pot popping in the air with the legendary. (fix this shit you hacks, I know you're reading).

I think they just take concepts/ideas and throw them at the wall to see what sticks. After a second game I kind of see what they're going for but it really needs at least one path to branch off early on, its so straight its kind of absurd. Maybe this is how they want to make Kinessa viable by making more straight maps.

I've played it twice as Makoa, won both and just hooked for wins. People try to take the ledge above the point but without protection its just free kills. Pushing is incredibly hard due to the up hill battle but I do like the hallways of mutiple pillars.
