Easily fixed by reading the gamefiles, spawning more stuff might actually be beneficial if you want more blood.

Can I manually curse my heroes with blood? To be fair, I had one cursed hero when I was at CC but I abandoned his ass because he was a throwaway beginner in a hamlet full of champs. It's a good I did that since that was a few days with no blood supply but now I'm facing a non-cursed hamlet with tons of blood but no invites. Just had a bug where I killed a Siren after she made my Jester switch sides. Instead of instantly coming back to his position in my party, he casually walked all the way there and remained facing leftwards, even as I continue through the dungeon.
It also doesn't let me switch party positions with anyone because the game thinks I'm still in battle and count the switch action as a "pass", with the hero refusing to switch and getting 4 stress points

I wouldn't say the quick draw charm is worth it at all.

Yes, +8 SPD and +5% CRT is a huge bonus and acting first in the first turn is a huge advantage, but this can be easily substituted with stacking suprise chance. It's 10% by default, 35% at 75-100 light, you can then increase it further with camp skills or Anestor's Lantern, caps at 65%.

If surprise triggers your first turn SPD is essentially wasted while you still suffer -3 SPD after first turn. Using the charm also means not using a different trinket.

It was something worth doing a year or two back. Now with the high prot and pesky backliners doing more serious damage (diseases, debuffs and new champ backliners) it's kinda obsolete. Still a strategy, but I only use quickdraw for jester's finale. Finale does so much damage at the start of the fight that it normally makes it a 4v3 match or a weaken champion.

Guys Am I doing something wrong. I tried 3 Champion runs and all of them went shit. The last run was massive shitfest of no crits (with fucking 20% crit chance HW), low dmg attacks (really 8-23 and you hit for a fucking 8), fucking vampires (Leper is now even more cursed) and fucking Ghouls spawned 3 fucking times in Warrens, enjoy your fucking stress. Also, the centaurpig got 5 crits on me (once double crit with his bitch slap). God thing I reminded myself and no one valuable died.
Am I unlucky, or champion is a whole new level of RNG.

i only have 1 item for the flagellant. The flavor text on it says "We're all falling apart..." and the item itself is a Chipped Tooth. Still got nothing for the vestal/leper though.

I only have half of each, the vestal is the Salacious Diary which buffs heals and camp stress recovery and says "I fear the whispers of my own mind!"
The leper one that I have is the Tin Flute which does something I don't remember and says "The last possesion of a fallen King" or something. I'll check it out when I get out of this mission.

Survive his fight for four turns and break his house to steal his shit. You don't need to hit him and he goes away on his own (try not to be too stressed before his flight). I have mixed thoughts about it since you don't get rewards at all for killing him but it's the easiest and shortest quest in the game so long as you have heroes that can survive his attacks.

In the last thread or the one before that someone shared his experience with the Baron, I remember he blocks healing, so bringing a Vestal might be a bad idea. You'll also need more than one run almost guaranteed.

When they're cursed they get minor debuffs like 5% worse resist to everything including death's door, but +1 speed. If you give them the blood right away (or give any non-cursed hero the blood) it just stresses them to fuck. If you wait, they'll start to crave the blood. If you give it to them when they're craving it, they get a significant buff. Like =25% damage and stuff. But cursed heroes crave even when they're not on a mission, and they act weird on the blood (refusing orders etc) and can die in the hamlet. The blood is currently hard to farm, one of the new districts is supposed to produce blood but isn't working (might have been fixed by now). Once you've done enough courtyard missions you can cure the curse.

Overall it is a bad thing to get cursed.

assuming you're at high infestation, yes. I was managing 2-3 vials in non-dlc areas while trying to get invitations, prior to that its incredibly rare so youll need to kill a boss and get a blueprint so you can build the vintners.

on the provisions page you can check how many are "wasting" before you depart, if any are they might die if there isnt blood, the rest will be fine.
